After that, Bryan put some music on. I kept an eye out on the streets to see where we were going. We turned down a dirt road and my heart began to pound fast.

“It’s okay Destiny. We have a small community out here. It’s mostly friends and family”, Bryan said, probably noticing my nervousness. I gave a firm nod. We passed a massive house that I swear looked like a mansion. We also passed different houses and some people walking. They slightly bowed their heads before they continued walking. About five minutes later, we pulled into a beautiful cabin and I could hear water nearby.

“Is there water nearby?” I asked, getting out of the Land Rover.

“Come beautiful. I made dinner for us”, Malik said, taking my bag from his dad. He took my hand in his and we walked inside the cabin. I love the cabin look it had outside, but the furniture was modern and the air inside was perfect. Malik placed my bag on the sofa, then guided me to the dining room.

“Malik, how did you do all of this?” I asked.

“I asked my parents for a favor and I explained your situation, and they were happy to help. So the day you have a pass, we can spend it together”, Malik said.

“Really?” I asked and he nodded.

“Thank you”, I said, and hugged him.

“Anything for you beautiful. Also, you look beautiful tonight” he said, making me blush. He pulled the chair out for me and I sat thanking him. He left and came back with two plates. There were steaks, mashed potatoes, and broccoli.

“Thank you” I said. I grabbed my silverware and cut into the steak. I moaned, loving the taste of the steak.

“Yes, you said you cooked this?” I asked.

“Well, this is good. Thank you” I said taking another bite. Malik grinned and began to eat.

“How about we play a game while we eat?” Malik asked.

“Let’s play twenty one questions. I want to get to know my girlfriend better” he said, making me blush.

“May third. What about you?” I asked.

“What’s your favorite color?” he asked.

“I love all colors, but if I had to choose a specific color I would prefer to choose a shade which would be black” I said.

“What about you?” I asked.

“I like the color blue, like your beautiful eyes” he said making me blush. We continued to ask each other questions and getting to know each other. After dinner we moved to the living room where Malik brought me a piece of chocolate cake.

“Do you like the cake?” he asked.

“Yes. It’s really good” I said licking the fork. I watched as his eyes darkened and I knew his wolf was on the surface.

“Whatever you want” he said. I placed the last of the cake on the coffee table then went up on my knees. I cupped his face and leaned in until our lips touched. ‘Mate is our home’ Raziel said. I looked at my mate only to see he was already looking at me. I let him guide me through the woods until we arrived at the waterfall. There were fairy lights in different places, but I loved the candles. It was giving the place this beautiful glow. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face.

“Do you like it?” Malik asked.

“I love it. It’s beautiful” I said before taking off my shoes and walking close to the edge of the water.

“It’s warm” I gasped and Malik nodded. Suddenly, a thought came to mind.

“Let’s go in” I said.

“I didn’t bring a bathing suit” he said.
