the girl

“A hybrid?” The Alpha asked, looking at Milo. “Where do you come from?” Milo sighed, as he looked back. “I honestly don’t have a home right now. I used to live inside a coven, but I recently got to learn that, as a baby, I was taken away from my parents for my magical powers. As soon as I found out, I left. I always had an urge to go and see the world, so I have been traveling ever since. But coming here, something about this place lured me in. I really have a strong urge to look around your house and see your cells.” He spoke, swallowing before he looked at the younger Alpha, hearing the news about the cells for the first time, as his mouth seemed to have a life of its own. It was true though, something inside his brain did pull Milo in that direction, although his heart was craving to go deeper inside the house. “Something is pulling me further inside this house.” Milo turned to face the Alpha again, feeling he was becoming desperate. “Do I have your permission, Alpha?” And Milo hoped with all his heart that the Alpha would let him, otherwise, he would use other ways to get inside anyway. But luckily, the Alpha nodded his head, guiding Milo out of the office, as he opened another door, showing Milo inside the dining room, where three females were standing. One without a doubt was the Luna, she had that aura about her, and her eyes were guarded, as a true Luna should be. The second one had dark blonde hair and brown eyes, she looked at Milo, curiously, as she tilted her head just a bit. Although Milo could tell by the new mark on her neck that she was without a doubt the young Alpha’s mate, a new and future Luna. As Milo’s eyes shifted, and set on the third woman standing in the dining room, all the air left his lungs and his brain for that matter. All he could do was look at her. THIS IS HER! The young wizard thought, as he looked at her, long brown hair almost reaching to her waist, big blue eyes, puffy lips. And as Milo kept looking at her, he felt a smile forming on his face, as he wasn’t able to take his eyes away from her. His mouth moved, only to let out one word. ‘MINE’. --------------------------------------------------------- PRESENT Milo’s P.O.V. The energy in the room took a whole 180-degree turn, as all eyes were pinned on me, and basically, every mouth had dropped open, all except for one, that of my mate, my perfect mate. The Luna gasped for air as she placed her hand on her heart in shock, looking as if she was about to faint any second now. It was only until the young Alpha said something that everyone seemed to get out of their state of shock. “Uhm, Ginnie, do you want some alone time or…?” Ginnie, My mate’s name is Ginnie! And my wolf, Bianco, stood on all fours, as his tail waged wild at the sight of her. My heart dropped a bit, as my mate pulled her gaze away from me, looking at the young Alpha who was still standing next to me. “Yes, please, just a few minutes. We’ll be right behind you.” Her voice sounded angelic, and it took all of my willpower to not run towards her and pull her in my arms right away. In the corner of my eyes, I saw the young Alpha push away the old one, as the younger Luna did the same with the current one, leaving me and my mate alone in the room, as they closed the door behind them. For a few seconds, all I could do was look at her, thinking to myself that I must have been daydreaming, or started to hallucinate at least. This girl right in front of me, had been haunting my dreams for nearly two years, not missing one night. And now, she was just standing in front of me, as if it was the most normal thing in the world. Maybe someone has cursed me too? What an amazing curse that would be... It was only until she bit her bottom lip, and my eyes zoomed in on her mouth, that I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I walked over towards her, with long strides, filling up the space between us in a matter of seconds. And once I was finally standing right in front of her, my hands had already wrapped around her waist, feeling how they nested there just perfectly, while all I could do was stare at those big blue eyes, darker than mine, but still so utterly perfect. Her hands rested against my chest, so she must have been feeling that my heart was racing like a madman inside of me, and then she smiled, taking my breath away even more. “Uhm… Ginnie, nice to meet you.” She spoke, as one of her hands lifted, pulling a strand of her brown hair to place it behind her ear, and God did she look cute as she did that. “Milo.” I answered, unable to say anything else really, I was hypnotized just by the looks of her. “What pack are you from?” She asked me, sounding curious, and trying to get the conversation going before it got awkward. But then again, how could this ever get awkward? If I could look at her like this, for the rest of my life, I would consider myself the luckiest man on the planet. “None,” I answered her, as I shook my head lightly. “Oh, I am so sorry, but, you don’t smell like a rogue.” She asked, her forehead frowning, as a million questions probably popped up in her mind. “Because I am not just a wolf either, I’m a hybrid.” Ginnie’s eyes popped open wide, as she kept looking at me, and I could practically hear the ‘no f*****g way!’ sounding through the air as her face spoke to her. “A hybrid?” she asked, making sure she heard me right the first time, which made me smile wide, she was looking cuter by the minute, second even. “Yes amore, a hybrid.” And then the most heavenly thing happened, Ginnie started to giggle, turning my own smile into a huge grin. “Amore? No way you are Italian!” She smirked, but her face boomed. She liked this nickname, I needed to remember that! “I honestly don’t think so, but the woman who raised me, was. So she learned me a thing or two.” Ginnie’s eyes opened up even wider as she smiled back at me. “I can’t wait to hear all of your stories.” And for some reason, I couldn’t wait to tell her everything as well. I sighed, as I looked down at my little mate, finally having found her, being able to hold her, I just needed to know, I craved to know. “Ginnie?” I asked her, seeing her tilt her head just a little, as I spoke out her name for the first time. “Yes, Milo?” She asked me back, using the same tone and showing me how playful she was, stirring up another new feeling deep inside of me. But first things first, I couldn’t force myself on her. We had all the time in the world. But still, me and my wolf were too excited for this. “Can I please kiss you?” And the words had left my lips, before my brain had even thought about it, wanting me to kick myself in the head the very next second. You really just asked if you were allowed to kiss your mate? Very hot… NOT! And as I took another deep breath in, shaming myself for what I had just said out loud, or asked, Ginnie’s smile grew even bigger as she showed me her pearly white teeth. “God, yes!”
