An abrupt meeting was called upon.
Just like what Jaeden told the members of the Vladyn Vampire Council when they saw him earlier while he was surveying the castle; they needed to conduct a meeting as soon as possible.

All members had gathered in the Royal Court the moment that Jaeden came back from the Human Village. Each and every member of the council was waiting antsy in their seats. None of them ever expected that bloodscukers would breached through the Kingston walls.
