Chapter 41

Desiree’s POV

I opened a portal to the lake. I text Leticia and Sharon. Five minutes later, two portals open next to me, and they walk up beside me. I then called Claudia and put her on speakerphone.

“Desi? Are you okay?” Claudia came on the phone

“Hey Claudia, she called us all together. She is not okay, she is starting to get a red glow”, Sharon says

“What did they do, Desi?” Claudia asks

“Brenda says she's having their baby”

“WHAT???” they all 3 yelled.

“Wait, redhead slut Brenda who is always in their face. She says she is pregnant and one of the twins is the father. How did you find out?” Leticia asks

“Yes, Brenda the redhead slut. She told them, the Alpha and the Luna, that she is pregnant, and it is one of the twins' baby. They told me tonight because they didn’t want me to find out any other way or from someone else. I knew something was wrong yesterday. I asked them yesterday what happened. They wait until today after we mate and mark each other to tell me”

“s**t!!!” Claudia says

“I am so angry!! Why can’t they keep their d***s in their pants? How many females am I going to have to deal with? I’m just saying, did they only f**k desperate women? Why do they want my mates?” I start to cry

“Don’t cry, Desi. Things will work out. I know it’s upsetting, and you are angry, but you will figure it out” Leti says, hugging me

“Leti, why are relationships so hard?”

“Desi, you are a kind, powerful and caring woman. You will be an amazing Luna and that is why you are paired with my brothers. You are also able to give them what they need to be good leaders. This is not your fault, and I am sorry it is happening to you. Unfortunately, my brothers were big whores and I would not be surprised if there were other women somewhere. I’m sorry. But I know you can handle it with the style and grace of a Crescent Lake Luna”, Claudia says

“Exactly”. We turned to the person who said that and, see Luna Belinda, Beta Yvonne and Gamma Maria

“Claudia is right, Desiree. You are the perfect mate for my sons and the perfect Luna for Crescent Lake. I don’t agree with their actions, but if anyone can set things right, it’s you”. Luna Belinda says

“What are you guys doing here?”

“We were all having a drink and talking after dinner and then the twins came to us crying because you opened a portal and left. Then the other two came asking us to fix this because the twins f****d up and Desiree took their mates”, Yvonne said.

“Thank you guys, I just wish I didn’t have to deal with this. I have already killed Tina. Now I have to put Brenda in her place. Because baby or not, I am their mate”

“That’s right, the twins are wrong but all of their exploits did happen before they met you. They love you and no matter how many of these bitches we need to set straight, they will support you, and we got your back”, Sharon says

“I love you guys. Because I was about to blow something up” I say

“You can still make sure my brothers know you are upset. I wouldn’t say blow them up, but make them feel your anger. They deserve it.”

“Agreed, because they have been warned multiple times about their s****l exploitations. They now realize we were right. A little punishment never hurt nobody”, Maria says with a wink and smile

“Like Mama Gem says, those that don’t hear will feel,” Leticia says

We stay at the lake for a few more minutes, catching up with Claudia. I say hi to Kane, and then we all went back to the packhouse. I open a portal to the lounge, where all the men are talking except Anthony and Antoine. They are sitting with their heads in their hands. I walk to my mates, they jump up to hug me and I step back

“We will talk later. Right now, we are going to let our wolves out like we promised. There’s no reason they shouldn’t have fun because you two are assholes”

“Babygirl, we are sorry”, Anthony says

“Yeah, I know. Good night everyone”

I then turn and open a portal back to the lake. We step through. They try again to talk, but now is not the time. I strip and shift, going to the back of my mind and giving Celestia full control. Our wolves spend hours running and playing. They also mate and mark each other. When Celestia gives me back control, my body is sore. I make Anthony carry me to bed.

“Girl, what did you do?” I ask Celestia

“No more than what you guys did all day today”

“Why am I so sore?”

“Wolves are a lot more aggressive than humans. Thank you, Desiree. I really needed time with them. I know their humans have upset you, but Steel and Granet are sorry you are upset, and they love you.”

“Tell them I love them too, and I am not upset with them and I will fix this situation with the twins. Don’t worry”

We went to Anthony’s room. I take a quick shower and go to bed. Training starts again tomorrow. And I have a feeling it’s going to be an eventful day.

Unknown’s POV

I have finally gotten word from one of my spies in the Bloodmoon pack. After Alpha Nicholas was killed, most of the people in his pack that were loyal to him were killed or banished. His son does not rule like him, and it would be a waste of time thinking I could make an alliance with him. One of the older warriors told me that there is a witch/wolf hybrid in the Crescent Lake pack. He said a warrior from the Eclipse pack was saying how special she was and kind for convincing the alpha to allow them to stay and find their mates after the Eclipse Moon alpha was removed from the ball. The warrior's son said she was a beautiful woman with gold-colored eyes. If she is who I think she is, then she is mine. And I will have her.

“Gordon!!”

“Yes, sir”

“How many rogues do we have now?”

“About 100 but only half are trained enough to attack and be useful”

“I need to see the defenses of Crescent Lake. Let’s send 20 of the inexperienced ones and observe the attack for weaknesses. I need to get someone out of there”, I instruct him

“Sir, Crescent Lake is one of the largest packs in the country. 20 rogues will be annihilated in 10 minutes. This attack will be over so fast, I doubt we will learn anything” he responds.

“Since I did not ask for your opinion on the plan, leave and go do what I told you to. Make sure they all have active cameras on them for me to review. I want this done this week” I say

I will get my power one way or another.
