Chapter 8: Up for Another Hour
Vivian roars following Dillon’s tale.
Gillian calls out, “Kudos! Dillon’s a master!”
Even Harold Dunne seems satisfied with the tale, calling it something like a spur-of-the-moment piece of enjoyment with just a hint of tension. “I approve.”
Jason realizes that whatever spills out of Dillon’s mouth people will like what he has to say. It’s part of being Dillon. A requisite. Dillon could share a string of nasty insults to those at the dinner party and…people would love him because of his model-perfect looks, charm, and the way he verbally seduces those around him. Bottom line: Dillon Snyder is a god bomb and the gatherers this evening know that he just might have the self-interested characteristic of being immortal.
