He didn't want to fall in love just yet especially since he wasn't sure of whether she was going to love him back or not.

He did force her to marry him which only meant that she despised him and knowing that there was a possibility that this flawless beauty hated him infuriated Kaden and he just wanted to punch or break something.

Melissa who had closed her eyes waiting for the kiss she didn't want felt a little relieved when he didn't kiss her.

She looked at him as he clenched his fist looking like he was frustrated about something and she being a clever girl, took a few steps back standing in the far corner of the elevator.

She wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of this ruthless man's wrath now would she? She already knew the consequences of making him angry, it was only wise to stay away from the angry bird!

The moment the elevator door dinged, Kaden was the first to come out going straight to his car while Melissa failed to keep up with him. She even resulted into jogging but he was too quick for her.

By the time she reached the parking lot of the building, her beloved husband had already left!!

She could see plenty of cars packed but couldn't see her husband and she had no idea which car belonged to him.

Most of the cars were facing in front and her being at the back couldn't see whether there was a person in the car or not.

"Damn you stupid husband! How could you just leave me like this!!" She said to herself through gritted teeth planning ways to murder him!

He had said they both were going for lunch and now he just speed walked away from her?! What kind of a husband was he?!

Wait! She was lucky anyway at least she won't have to deal with him anymore maybe she could finally go home and get some rest or cry about the fact that she was now married to a man she didn't even love.

She turned around about to walk away when a voice she knew called behind her saying, "Where do you think you are going? We are suppose to be on a lunch date!"

Hearing the voice, Melissa gulped looking behind her expecting to see angry bird's face but only saw a smirking Kaden, standing next to a expensive looking black and shiny BMW. So he left her on purpose now didn't he?

Melissa clenched her fists about to give him a nasty come back and yell at him for leaving her but she stopped herself.

She had already done enough damage to her life, if she did more then her husband would end up murdering her sister which is something she didn't want.

So like a cute adorably little doggy, she walked forward towards his car.

Kaden who was expecting a reaction from her was slightly disappointed with the fact that she didn't react.

He wanted her to yell at him or say something but she quietly came to his car. He was already missing the talkative and fearless Melissa and he felt a little guilty that he broke her.

Once she came and sat on the passenger seat, he drove off to a fancy restaurant were he had made reservations for himself and his little wife.

Melissa gasped seeing the restaurant when she got out of the car.

On the outside, the building looked like it was made out of mirror glass, the expensive kind were you can't see the people inside but they can see you!

"You've never seeing such a building before now have you?" Mr Kaden said tauntingly in an uninterested bored tone.

Melissa was about to say that she has seen better but stopped herself. She would have to endure all his insults for now but he won't be so lucky in the near future.

She will make sure she makes him pay for this!

Melissa kept quiet as Kaden led the way into the restaurant.

The doors were those kinds which opened on their own, and Melissa was in awe as she has never seen such before.

A waitress who looked beautifully dressed with professionally put makeup that made Melissa's minimal makeup be put to shame, came and led them to their table.

Everyone in the restaurant looked elegant like they came from rich families, wearing expensive looking clothes, she looked at the simple dress she was wearing and felt a little embarrassed that she should have worn a better outfit.

The interior of the restaurant was equally made of glass including the tables that had a little curvings except the chairs. The later was made with the finest expensive and polished wood.

"What would you like to eat?" Kaden asked handing Melissa the menu while the waitress from earlier stood a short distance away waiting for them to take their order.

Melissa scanned the menu and the only cheap thing that she could afford was a glass of water which cost about $50.

"water." She said in a small whisper putting down the menu.

Kaden looked at her displeasingly, his little wife was something else.

Out of all this food she decide to choose a glass of water?

Kaden beckoned the waitress to come closer and then said,

"We will have grilled flat iron steak with mushroom gravey, grilled chicken, roasted potatoes and arugula salads with garlic confit and for the beverage we will have iced tea."

Melissa looked at him wondering what kind of food he just ordered. She had never seen or heard of these in her entere life.

The only things that was known to her was the fact that he mentioned the words chicken, steak, mushroom, potatoes and garlic, the rest was new to her.

She now wondered whether she was even going to eat the food.

Ten minutes later the waitress brought the food and it smelled really delicious that Melissa's mouth began to water especially with the fact that she had missed breakfast.

"Go on try it." Kaden said with the corner of his mouth curved upwards.

Melissa didn't even waste any time as she took the knife and fork which she fortunately knew how to use then cut a piece of steak.

She felt like she was in meat heaven when she tasted the tender meat. Never has she ever tasted meat this good.

"You like it?" Kaden asked trying to start up a conversation but Melissa being the lady that she was, made sure the message of her being angry got to him.

She ignored him silently eating the steak and occasionally taking a bit out of his grilled chicken and everything else that was on his plate.

Kaden observed her actions as she ate from his plate and he found it rather cute that she looked so carefree and adorable.

He was becoming even more attracted to her and tried so hard to make her talk to him but he only got a one word answer from her.

Well what did he expect! She was his wife now and wives were always angry at their husbands.

This was both frustrating and challenging, her ignoring him was only making him fall for her because he sometimes liked it when his women didn't throw themselves at his feet.

He was now wondering what he was going to do to make her happy and livelier again.

When the date ended, Kaden drove Melissa home but before she could get out of his car, she took a deep breath and without looking at him said, " can you give me at least a month more. One month of staying here with my sister is too short."

Kaden felt alittle happy that he finally heard a sentence coming from his little wife!

He had been feeling a little low and guilty when she wasn't talking to him and hearing her say something made him feel a little better.

So with a small smile playing on his lips he quickly said, "yes of course I will take you offically as my wife after two months okay."

Melissa felt a little relieved but didn't show it instead she nodded her head and without saying a word or even glancing at him, got out of the car and walked like zombie towards the front door opening it and going inside.

"Hey Melissa did you find any work?" her sister asked the moment she stepped foot in the house.

Melissa didn't say anything instead only shook her head and walked up the stairs towards her room.

"Hey Melissa hold on." Her sister held her hand stopping her.

"What's wrong? Why the long and sad face? Did something happen and--" Melissa's sister, Veronica stopped herself from talking as she looked at the sparkling diamond ring that was on her little sister's finger.

She remembered the fact that Melissa didn't have a boyfriend and neither was she ready to be in love so then where did the ring come from?

With her eyes squinted suspiciously, she grabbed her sister's hand then said, "where did this ring come from?"
