CHAPTER 16: Decisions. At the end of class, it's Ryan who drives me home. I spend most of the afternoon doing college work and when I'm free, I decide to turn on my phone. I turned it off a few hours ago because of Jeremy's incoming calls that wouldn't leave me alone, but I really don't want to talk to him. As soon as I turn the device on, I get notifications of messages and calls from Jer, but I ignore everything. With a sigh, I lie in bed and absentmindedly check my social media. And while part of me wants to know exactly what Jeremy is calling me for, I don't feel emotionally ready to face him.
