This was probably going to be the last time Emma and I were going to have to be together. I knew I was probably being watched but I needed to get away from them. My mom and Una had snuck out earlier, so I was hoping I would be able to do the same.
As I walked into the kitchen I spotted Erica and Aaron speaking with one of the council men. They walked off together and went to take a seat in the dining hall with the other council men and Evans. I didn't trust that man, something about him was off. I watched them for a few seconds longer, and then I snuck out of the side door. I stood at the side of the door, hiding behind some bins.
