I stand up and step away from Leo. The closer I get to him the more I lose my resolve. There is an obvious stain on Leo's slacks. He looks down at it, softly rubbing the spot before winking at me slightly.
I look over at him and say "I need to go back to work Leo."
He reaches for me, trying to hold me one more time. I step back from him, knowing that I am losing the battle in my head. If he touches me again I am liable to do what he asks and dance for him.
As I walk away he shouts "I am staying until the end of your shift."
Part of me finds his protective obsessiveness almost endearing, not that I would let him know that. Without missing a beat I turn to him and say "Do what you want. It's a free country, Leo."
