"You saved me, why?" I asked him. He smelled so nice that for a brief moment, I forgot about my predicament and found myself inhaling him and feeling like a teenager in high school.
"Because you would have either lost your eyes or died," he replied and resumed walking.
I came back to my senses at this point and tried to get off his body but he would not let me go and I still wasn't strong enough.
I didn't know why I acted so carelessly. I ought to have known that it was a trap, but like a fool, I still ran to save Bill without a concrete plan. But how did Sebastian suddenly appear at the crucial moment?
"Sebastian, how did you....?"
"Shh," he shushed me. "Stop talking, it's not good for your condition. You need to conserve the little energy you have left."
