The moment the manager reached us, Rose quickly approached him and complained, "Someone stole my number and when she was caught, she began to make a scene and destroyed Mr. Vince's laptop."
"Yes, sir," Vince concurred and pointed at me as he added. "This despicable woman has been making a scene here."
"Were you the one who called me?" The manager asked Rose while I just folded my arms and stared at them.
"No, she wasn't the one who called you," Vince replied. "However, her number was stolen by Charlotte Steve."
"Who is Charlotte Steve?" The manager asked.
They all pointed at me.
The manager turned his attention to me and at this point, I said, "I was the one who called you."
His eyes widened in surprise, "What really happened, ma'am?"
