On our way home, I sat in the car quietly with Jake while Paris went with Bliss in his car.
After dancing with Sebastian Moore earlier and being warned by Jake to stay away from him, I could not bring myself to dance with anyone again.
I was exhausted and turned down any further requests for a dance. I noticed Bill had gone back to sit down and surprisingly found myself feeling guilty for ignoring him all night.
I just hoped he would take the hint and stop trying to speak with or get close to me. No matter what, I could not go back to him. I could not disappoint my family once again.
I looked around for Sebastian Moore but he was gone. I was surprised because I was closer to the exit and would have seen him leave, considering his towering height.
