“What was that about?” I growled, pointing a finger at the closed door.
Ares raised his brow and then shrugged like he didn’t know what I was f*****g talking about, further irritating me.
“You were in a very shitty situation. You worried the hell out of all of us.” I growled as I closed the distance between us with a finger pointed at him. “A situation that she caused, and you dare act like it is nothing?”
“Well, it is nothing.” He repeated with another irritating shrug.
My fingers went through my hair and let out air through my mouth. “I am only trying to help you here but if you feel like you don’t need me, then fine.” My hands went up and I nodded. “I will try to ignore your problems next time because it is clear you don’t need anybody’s help.”
