The twisting of her stomach due to nervousness caused Phoenix to look up once more at the bag of blood dripping into her veins, it was lower than the last time she looked, but not by much. Letting out another huff of frustration, she wanted her treatment finished, so she could return to the battlefield. Fear about her mate was playing havoc with her mind, and she felt helpless. Although her mother kept her informed of what was happening via brief updates from Liane as she brought in the wounded before disappearing again, taking the healed back to fight once more. Phoenix needed to see with her own eyes what was happening, and how much damage had been done.
