Liane sat in the larger-than-you-would-think tree house that was Marcus’ home. Small spotlights illuminated the bare polished wooden lats of the building. Everything was neutral colours, she gazed around the large sitting room, which had the cream sofa she was sitting on, along with two large comfortable chairs, and a TV sitting in the corner. It was an open plan concept; a waterfall countertop in block wood, covered the cream cupboards underneath, separated the areas between the living space and the kitchen, which contained more wooden cupboards painted cream.
