"Honey, I didn't kiss her. She kissed me first. I was trying to..." Reximus was trying to explain to his wife, but she cut him off immediately.
"I'm very disappointed in you right now," Nara said firmly before she walked away and entered the mansion.
Reximus was trying to pursue her but Ken held him back by grabbing his shoulder.
"Rex, let her be. Give her some time. She'll cool down a bit. You can talk to her calmly after that. Besides, your mother is calling for you." Ken persuaded him.
Reximus took his advice and went inside slowly to get his mother. Ken just followed him from behind. His mother was still standing on the stairs, she probably liked that position because she could see everyone around the party when she stood there a bit higher from everyone.
