“Your hands up! I will shoot you dead if you make any move!”
Ebou looked around and tried to calculate what to do, but before he could do so, the police were all over and he was completely surrounded.
“Drop your weapons!” said one police officer.
“You’ve won the race,” Ebou said. “I am not going to do anything else. Just take me back to prison because am fed up with life.”
He dropped his gun and two police officers cuffed his hands. Three police helicopters soon descended in the third traffic lane and Ebou was taken into the one with the yellow paint. They flew him away to the Central Prison in Banjulinding to await charges by the High Court. The traffic got back to normality and news started spreading all over the media.
