“Isn’t that right, Elsie?” Ava said with a sweet smile as she raised her brows at Elsie who stood by the stairs with a puzzled look on her face.
“W-what are you talking about?” Elsie stammered from where she stood.
“Oh, Elsie. I knew that you were so kind but, I definitely didn’t expect you to be THIS kind.” Ava cooed.
“She’s here to help around?” King Edgar’s anger faded away immediately. Nothing gave him more joy than watching other people, especially werewolves, serve him. If he had his way, he would make Ava work in the palace as a maid but, she was his son’s mate so, there was nothing he could do about it.
“That’s good then. I don’t have a problem with her working as a maid.” He said and moved away from Sebastian with a satisfied grin on his face.
