Chapter 27: Hurt

I don't know what came over me but I couldn't breathe, I saw my veins turning black and I tried to look at my son, I couldn't move I was dying. I saw Cayden in front of me and he picked me up rescinding his banishment as I couldn't breathe, I heard him say, "Oh my god, Kaitlyn, what are you doing here? This is a breach in your punishment but I won't do anything about it once you explain why you're here." Michael came into the room and I felt a pain in my stomach, I saw the blood run down my legs, I said no I can't lose the baby, Cayden rested his hand on my stomach to stabilize me before Drax appeared and said, "Give her to me," he heals me, I was so scared and hurt about everything, I eventually passed out and woke up to tingles on my hand. I thought everything was a dream until I heard a beeping sound.
Everything flooded back to me, I turned to see Samuel look at me and say, "Hey love, I am so sorry," I pulled my hand back and said, "Get out." He said, "Let me explain....," I cut him off yelling, "Get out!!" Water streamed down my cheeks and he left closing the door, I didn't want to hear anything. I was never going to have the love I deserved, I would always be a failure, I hear my father's voice in my head saying, "I told you, you would be nothing, you are weak and only good for the thing between your legs." I closed my eyes, and the doctor came into the room and said, "You almost lost the baby because of the banishment spell, it's designed to kill you if you come here without an invitation." I smiled thanking her and she said, "Thank King Cayden and Lord Drax, if it weren't for them, the baby would have died."
I was released one hour later to go home, I thanked Cayden and Drax for saving my baby's life, and I was able to stay with my son for a few more hours as he played with his toys. He was over a year now and I smiled at how quickly the time flew in the Underworld, I teared up when he called me mummy hugging me before I was led to a portal where my guard was waiting. Haru showed himself because Samuel left me to give me space, Haru smiled taking my hand and we crossed over. I was in the garden at the Palace where Dawnique was waiting for me, I held back my tears, I was still Queen and wouldn't show weakness. My husband was a King and he was allowed to f**k who he wanted, I was merely here to give him the family he wanted, and Dawn asked, "Do you want to talk about it?"
I said, "There is nothing to talk about," I walked past her, and she said, "Hear him out, Kate," I cut her off by saying, "Queen Kate or Your Majesty." My aura made her bow and she said, "Of course, Your Majesty, my apologies," before I walked to my quarters, Haru was there, but invisible again. I walked into my room to see a big bouquet of roses on the bed with a note, I took up the note and saw it was from Samuel so I tore it up without reading it and threw the roses off the balcony. I wanted nothing from him and headed into the bathroom to soak in the tub, block everyone out, and lie back with a book. I eventually linked, Darla, the maid to bring a soda water with lime in the glass, which I could pretend to drink wine. A few minutes later, a knock was on the door and I saw Samuel walk in with my soda water.
He said, "We need to talk, Kaitlyn, it's not what you think," I said, "Get out, Samy, I don't want to talk to you, I don't want to see you right now, just leave me alone. All you men do is lie, cheat, and abuse, I won't be part of it but you can do what you want, this that we had, is done, I won't make the same mistakes I made before, I was better than this." I saw tears in his eyes, he hurt me and I wanted him to hurt too, I said, "Get out," he rests the glass down on the counter and left. I finally broke down and cried because this was my fate, only to be used and thrown away but I would carve my destiny and told Samuel to move out of the room or I will. I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed, I will not dwell on what happened but will find out who the woman was eventually. Mistresses are known to be around unless it is a full-on affair, I closed my eyes vowing to focus on my pregnancy, and now I know how Michael felt.

Samuel
I was in my office working on some new business that we acquired, it had been months and my wife was going to have my babies soon. She was having twins and our mating had been strained since the day she caught me in the office with Diana, I wish I could explain everything but Kaitlyn has changed and won't talk to me unless it's business or the babies. Sol came into the office and asked, "What do you have planned for your wife's birthday?" I said, "You do know, we are not together like that anymore after what happened with Diana?" He said, "You guys are still intimate for the bond, right?" I smiled and said, "More of a chore now but it keeps the withdrawal symptoms away." Sol said, "Well, Personia wants to surprise her," I said, "Go for it," he smiled before he left, my alarm went off and it was time for the doctor's visit.
I got in my car and headed to the doctor's office, she pulled up the same time I did, and I walked over to help her as she was a little more drained most of the time. Haru was there helping her out, I linked him, "How is she doing?" He said, "As good as she can be but I think that it's almost time," he could sense these things and I nodded. Kaitlyn looked at me, put her shades on, and walked in front of me heading inside, she was so adorable and I didn't mind watching that sexy ass walk in front of me. Winning her over was my main goal but she was stubborn and refused any outings with me, she wouldn't entertain family if they spoke on my behalf, and she had completely shut me out. I will continue to grovel at her feet and anything she asks, I take full accountability for my f**k up, however, I need my family.
Marlon was working on a way to save Sheila because it was time, Marion notified me that Ty would have no choice but to mark Sheila to save her and that was not going to end well. I heard a scream and rushed over to my wife who was in labor, her water broke, and I was nervous and picked her up taking her to a room as the doctor rushed in. Kaitlyn looked at me and I held her hand, I was going to be there for my kid's birth, I kissed her forehead as she pushed, I knew this was our time and with the small cries I heard, my first son was born, followed by his twin. I was so happy and I had Tovar in my arms while she had Toby in hers and I said, "Give me another chance, Kaitlyn, please," I teared up, this was my family, and I wasn't going anywhere, I hated that I put us through this. She looked at me crying and my family barged in as my mother took Tovar out of my hands, they were happy.
My dad had Toby in his hands and my daughter Cara looked on, she was happy and Kaitlyn was smiling happy being a mother again. She linked me asking, "Did you give your first wife a chance?" I had no words because I didn't, she said, "I can never forgive you for what you did but we can try for the babies," I wanted more but this was a start, and I promised, to never let something like that happen again. She had blocked me again from her feelings, I had hurt my wife, something I promised never to do, and I failed. I was summoned to Ravena as it was time to bring a powerful prisoner home, I left my wife and babies in the hospital under the watchful eyes of their guards. I will win my wife back, I will win her trust again and this time around, nothing will come between us. Marlon was waiting for me offering congratulations, he was nervous as the Supremes might kill his daughter, only a few knew about Plan B but hopefully, it wouldn't come to that.
