Chapter 25: Special Meeting Part 2

King Samuel and Queen Kaitlyn returned from their honeymoon yesterday, he informed me that Ty and Toffe will be visiting soon and need to gather any information about Sheila and the succubi. I was nervous because I was no saint and I could lose my family, best friends, and even my life over this but I had to tell them the truth. I thought that I was rid of the evil witch but she has started contacting me to get information on how to get Ty to bend to her will and blackmail me for her help. I can't do this anymore but I need to start with my wife before informing the others. My wife is my life and I love my kids, I made mistakes years ago and I'm not making excuses, I was wrong for letting myself get seduced by a teenager. I got myself into this predicament and will face the consequences of my actions, even if it is my life.
I head over to Marlon's office with the information I have and to tell him everything, he was expecting me and asked me to sit and we got down to business. I started to explain what happened years ago between me and his daughter, he was angry but not surprised, he said he had his suspicions but hoped my influence on her would have changed her. He doesn't know where he went wrong with Sheila and the older she got, the more hostile and rebellious she was, it just doesn't make sense. It's like when she got her succubus, she went haywire, I then explained about the visit a while back and he was furious. He yelled, "Are you serious? Do you know what you have done? We needed to find a way to reverse this or we are both dead." That night we spent all our resources finding the information to put Sheila down for good.
I knew this meeting would be a heavy one and me being Samuel's third in command scares the s**t out of me, what will he think when he learns the truth? Marlon was still angry I slept with his daughter and I don't blame him, I should known better, I was a high-level demon for crying out loud and I was still deceived. Sheila was stronger than we thought and if the Supremes got their hands on her, she was good as dead. She was going after Ty and that in itself is a suicide mission, no one and I mean absolutely no one goes against Ty and survives unless he wants you to. Sheila was a beautiful woman and because of the entity, she was desirable and deadly but hopefully, everything turned out well in the end, now, I have to confront my family in case everything goes south. I cheated on my wife and she was scary when she was angry but hopefully, she forgives me.

I was a mess but I was holding my head up high trying to be strong for my wife and hiding the fact that Sheila killed our daughter. Kuron told me about the affair he had with my daughter and although I was angry, deep down, I knew and hoped he had a positive effect on her because he was really a good guy, but just lost his way in this matter. I knew it was not going to be good for him as Samuel would probably punish him for a while and his wife may tear his balls off but it was not my problem. We were in King Samuel's office, and Kuron explained everything that happened between him, and Sheila and how he was being blackmailed. The aura in the room could fry bacon extra crispy as he looked at Kuron disappointed in him, I admit I was disappointed too but we know Sheila lost her marbles years ago.
At one point, I had thought that I had gotten through to her and she was changing until the night she snuck out to the demon rave held by the forbidden lake of fire, something went wrong and we have no idea what. She came home a different person and was angry at everyone around her. We tried to figure out when she went feral and remembered my daughter Denise said she would sneak out trying to get stronger to kill everyone she hates but never took her seriously. Looking back, she was dead serious, Sheila would die and there was nothing I could do to save her but at least I made peace with it. I have been notified that the Supremes had crossover and King Samuel summoned me. It was now or never, and I hope we were wrong about, Sheila, for everyone's sake, but it doesn't look that way.

I was excited to show Ty and Toffe how much their empire had grown and they were pleased, their bloodline is one of the oldest besides mine that ruled the underworld, technically they are the rightful heirs and I was their ancestors' second-in-command I took over when their mother the queen was killed and their ancestors were hidden. However, they said they had no desire to run the underworld and I will continue to answer to them. We started to hear what Kuron was confessing and Ty was pissed and asked, "Did you know she was the Dark Witch?" He said, "No, Your Highness," I backed him up by saying, "We had our suspicions but there was no proof," Ty looked at what we found.
Marlon told us about when he noticed Sheila spiral as a teen and then it hit me and I pulled my book about Queen Anuba the deadliest succubus that ever lived. I told them, "History tells us that her lover abandoned her and she hated all male species and didn't believe in mates. She would drain men of their energy until they died and sometimes manipulate them to do her bidding. Her people started to plot against her as she would kill mated, single, and human men, and even went overboard killing young teenage boys, this caused her people to rebel. They had gotten help from a coven and they killed and locked her evil soul away for eternity.
Her soul couldn't be killed because of all the sacrifices she made which included young children, and making herself stronger. She loves power and once she gets it she must have it, that's why she is so drawn to you Ty." Toffe said, "If that is the case, how did it merge with Sheila?" That was a mystery in itself as the location of her eternal cell was never written down. Bashien said, "Take me to where the rave was, and let's see if it has the answers we seek." After visiting the place where everything happened, I was not shocked but surprised it went undetected for so long. Balthazar was with me but invisible, Ty and Toffe knew he was there because they could tell, we didn't hide anything from them.
Later that night, I decided to take the boys out to unwind, I felt my wife's uneasiness but Haru would notify me if something is wrong. Michael made her happy today and I thank him because she misses her boy, I promised to talk to aidan about another compromise so she can co-parent with Cayden. Devon mind-linked me about the missing prisoner and I kept my cool because once they leave their cell, they don't have a physical form to escape. So, I was probably floating around looking for mischief until I felt Haru's uneasiness and decided to check on my wife. I saw Haru with Rave walking towards him and I knew something was up but Kate was asleep and Balthazar filled me in. I looked at my sleeping wife and touched her face, someone tried to harm her but my protection barrio around the bed saved her.
We had a lot of fun at the honeymoon, she is probably with a child after the wild few weeks we had so I wanted to make sure she was safe. Haru is the best man for the job and I might make his post permanent, I went back to Ty and Toffe for the little time we had left before heading down to where the little traitor was being held. I saw her crying and I looked at her and asked, "Why did you do it, Salma?" She said, "You promised me that we would be together and you picked a Queen who was disloyal to her people and restricted to here." I closed my eyes because I did sleep with her in my drunken era but I hardly promised her those things, I nodded for Deon to take her to lock up, I was going to punish her severely but she was mentally impaired, everyone saw it. I turned to Devon and said, "Find out what made her snap," because I hadn't slept with her in years and something told me this was only the beginning.
