“hi mom” I said to her when I went inside her hospital room. “Hi Lander.” She said and she suddenly cough after saying those words. “Mom.. Please save your voice… I still need to hear that after we finally become one of the success company by the DNWL… Like Apple and samsung… Please.” I said to her and she touches my face. “Please don’t cry sson.. Even you are wearing a face mask and a face shield, I could still see your tear.” She said to me and I just nodded. I tried to kiss her but she stops me. “I can pass you the virus… So Please… I still want to see you standing 10 years from now.” She said.
I can’t visit her without wearing a face mask and a Face shield. Her condition is becoming worse every single day. They said that the corona virus really did her bad.
Why does the Pandemic have to happened? And why my family? I have money, but theys aid money could not kill the virus, only her could kill the virus, by becoming strong.
“I love you mom.” I said to her and she whispered to me… “I I love you too son… I am very proud of you, I am pretty sure your dad is too.” She said and I just nodded at her. “Jeremy will come by here. He’ll check on you… I just have something important to do and sign today.” I said to her and she nodded. “Jeremy is a nice kid, please don’t pushed him to visit me… I don’t want to infect him with the virus…And If only he don’t like girls, I will allowed him to date you.” She mockingly said. “Mom, I am not gay… How many times do I have to tell you that having a girlfriend is still not my priority right now… And… Jeremy is straight… If only you could count how many girls he’d bring to his bed…” I said and we both laugh.
My phone buzzes so I get it to see that it reminded me the time of signing the contract.
“Mom… I gotta go now… I have somewhere to be right now… I love you mom.” I said to her and she nodded. “I love you too.. Be careful Lander…”
After I left the hospital, I drove my car to the DNWL building for me to sign the contract.
And when I got there, I asks for the person who is handling the signing of contract and they immediately told me the room where I should be.
“Hi.” I greeted to the man who is working with the contracts. “Hi, are you here for the signing of the contract?” I nodded as an answer. “What’s your company and please fill up this paper and I need to see your ID please.” He said so I gave him my ID and I fill up the paper that he gave mee.
After filling the paper up, I gave it to him, and just after he works for my paper, he looks at me.
“I’m sorry but tour contract has been already signed…” He said. “What? Signed? What do you mean by that?” I asks the man. “Yes… WG company right? Solar Gadgets?” He asked me and I nodded because what he said is right about the contract and my company and the product that I will be presenting.
“yes, It is already signed.” He said. “But by whom?” I asked him. “It says here, it was signed by Orlando Lux?”
Mr Lux signed the contract? Why did he not tell me about it? Why did he not alert me first?
“Okay thanks.” I said and leave the room since I already knew who signed the contract, one of my trusted people.
I called Mr Lux to thanked him for what he did.
And what he said next….
Shocked me to the core…
“I don’t know what you are talking about… I did not signed the contract.”
It’s impossible since his name was there, his name was in the contract…
If he was not the one who signed the contract, then who did?
