Chapter 9 : Meeting Rosalyn's Friends

The computer science class went well that day. Mr. West was pleased to see Rosalyn did not trouble him throughout the whole class. Felicity did not know why the nerd boy beside her giving her a strange look. Focusing on Rosalyn's memory, Felicity did not find anything or if she had bulled him in the past or not. She decided to let that go. If she gets irritated by him someday, she would defiantly ask him if he wanted to say something to her. Later in the class, she directly went to the canteen to have her lunch. She tried her best to stay unfazed when everyone out there was either giving her a frightening look or murderous glare. She did not want to be brutal like Rosalyn. So, she kept an arrogant expression and walked away.

On her way to enter their school canteen, she heard high pitch voices called her name, "Rosalyn!" Turning around, she found three girls in their mini skirts and shirts running toward her direction. They were in cheerleaders' costumes. Well, that was what Felicity thought after seeing them. Roaming her eyes, Felicity found a group of boys was leaning against the wall and staring at her. Looking at the other side, she found some frightened-looking juniors and senior students were staring at those three cheerleaders cautiously. Fixing her gaze in her front, she recalled those three were Rosalyn's best friends. Rosalyn and her three friends were known as the queen bees and notorious bullies in their school.

One of the cheerleaders said, "Oh my, God! You are back!" Saying, she hugged Rosalyn. Slowly she remembered, the girl with red hair and green eyes hugging her is Erica White, youngest daughter of a senator of Y city. She was less vicious than the other two. Moving away from Rosalyn, she smiled and said, "I missed you, Rose." Rosalyn smiled back. She heard one of them said, "Where have you been for the whole day? Last time I found you entering the director's room. We had to go somewhere. So, when we returned, we could not find you there." She is Helena Smith, heir of Smith Corporation. The Smith is Evans are the business partners for over nine years. Their father used to go to the same school and were friends.

The other one said, "We asked so many students, but those good for nothing crowd did not see where you went." She glared at those frightened-looking juniors for no reason. Felicity did not like the way that girl was giving their juniors disgusted and evil look, but she did not protest. Rosalyn never stopped them from doing anything before, so, Felicity stopped herself. That girl is Karina Martinez. They are also a wealthy family and have chains of hotels in Y city. Her eyes are grey and her hair is black. 

Not wanting to create a scene, Rosalyn said, "That's alright. Now that I am here, why not have lunch together, guys?" Karina cringed and said, "Are you sure you want to eat canteen foods, Rosalyn? We used to go outside high-end restaurants for lunch as you hate to seat and eat here with low-class students." She again threw insulting words toward the poor students in their school. Felicity did not like how they were insulting those juniors. She wanted to stop them, but she could not as Rosalyn used to like bullying those poor students in their school. 

Felicity did not like Rosalyn's friends at all. To make them leave her way, she said politely, "I can't wait to have my lunch as I am very hungry now and doctors instructed me to have my meal on time. But I am not going to force you to have lunch with me. You all can go outside if you want to. We will catch up later. What do you say?" She so wanted them to leave her alone. She has no heart to behave cruelly to anyone. 

Erica said immediately, "No, we are going to join you." Helena said with tilting her chin upward, "And everyone should know the rulers of this school are reunited." Felicity sighed in frustration internally. Keeping a fake smile in the corner of her mouth, she entered the cafeteria with her minions following her from behind. The whole cafeteria turned silent to see those four entering with their glory. Felicity did not waver her gaze anywhere and kept her eyes fixed on the canteen lady and ordered her to give a veg sandwich, an apple, and a packet of cookies with a juice bottle. She sat at an empty table and began to have her lunch. Her friends also joined them with their different food trays. 

They were obnoxious. Helena and Karina were talking about some branded jewelry, dresses, and all. Felicity remembered Rosalyn also loved to do the shopping and scrolled on her handset to visit one site to another and ordering around whatever she likes to have for herself. Felicity did not like to talk when she is having her food. So, she kept quiet. She looked at Erika and found she kept a boring expression on her face while listening to those two mocking birds were talking like there has no tomorrow. 

Suddenly, Felicity heard Helena said, "Hey, you know I got my package delivered to my home yesterday afternoon." Helena was smirking at the other three. Felicity kept a blank expression on her face. 

Karina squealed and said, "The one you ordered from the best designer from Paris, right?"

Nodding, Helena said, "Yes, I have that purse now. Do you want to see that?"

Karina said, "Just show us already." Felicity saw jealously visible in Karina's eyes even though she looked surprised and enjoying to see that expensive purse. Tearing her gaze away from them, she began to eat her apple calmly. At that moment, she heard Erika said, "Why are you so quiet, Rosalyn?"

Felicity wanted to say she was bored after hearing the same thing for over half an hour. But she pursed her lips and began to think of what to say. Sighing, she said, "Oh, nothing. Just a bit worried about my studies." Nodding, Erika asked, "By the way, what did you choose for twelfth?"

Felicity said, "Computer Science." She heard Helena exclaimed, "What? But you never showed any interest on that subject." Erika added, "Yes, you are interested was in fashion designing to take over your mother's textile business." Rosalyn nodded to them and said, "Interests can change by time, you know."

Then they began to have their lunch. Then Felicity heard Karina said, "Hey, look. How that girl is looking at us with a scared expression on her face."

Raising her head, Felicity saw a girl in glasses was coming with a tray of food and was shaking in fear when her ways landed on their table. Her eyes were holding terror to see the four bullies are together. Felicity looked at Helena and Karina. Felicity's face snapped toward Helena when she heard her saying, "Let's have a little fun. What you see?" Oh, God! No! Felicity began to pray to God to save that poor girl from getting bullied.
