Chapter 7 : Classmates Trouble

1200 Words
Felicity kept reminding herself she was Rosalyn, who did not give any importance to anyone in her school, and she feared no one. So, she kept her back straight, and face emotionless, she went to take a seat in the front row. The girl, she sat beside got scared to see her taking a seat beside her desk. She visibly gulped in fear and looked at her back only to see her classmates gave her a sour expression that says, "Poor Girl, you are going to be Rosalyn's first target after this class ended." That girl's face paled instantly.  That girl slowly closed her notebook and kept that inside her bag. She cautiously stood up from her seat while keeping her scared eyes fixed on the big school bully, Rosalyn, who was busy taking out her copy and pen for their mathematics class. Taking her bag from her desk, that girl slowly went backward toward an empty seat and comfortable herself on her seat. She sighed in relief as she has succeeded in getting away from Rosalyn. Even though Rosalyn loved to see how everyone in her school feared her and preferred to stay away from her, but to Felicity, she was hurt a little to see how everyone was behaving around her. She sighed helplessly, as she knew she could do nothing about it.  Felicity could not decide what she would choose, which might be helpful for her in every possible way. She was sure she is going to take Mathematics and Chemistry. By taking those two subjects, she also has to take Physics as well. Rosalyn used to love Mathematics and Chemistry from what Felicity came to know from Rosalyn's memory. Before Felicity's rebirth, she sneakily used to enter her half-sister's room in her and her mother's absence at home. Felicity used to read her half-sister's school books sneakily. Seeing the colorful cover of the chemistry book where some experts and students doing their experiments by keeping a flask with a colorful sample on the Bunsen Burner, she envied them for not got to do those experiments herself. After rebirth, now that she is getting a chance to do those things, she couldn't be happier more. She thanked God to give her a chance to live her life again. She smiled a little.  Rosalyn filled three blank places with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Only one spot was left there. English was compulsory, so, she did not have to put that subject on her list. She could not decide whether to choose Statistics or Computer Science. Talking about Computer Science, Felicity has no idea about that subject. Felicity focused on Rosalyn's memory and found Rosalyn used to do online shopping and play games on her laptop and smartphone which did not seem useful for Felicity anyway as Rosalyn used to misuse technology where she could learn lots of things from the internet. Felicity closed her eyes and try to remember her previous life where she used to see her husband and his men used to do their work on their smartphone and laptop by visiting different websites. She used to get bitten by her husband for entering his study room without his permission. Felicity pushed those thoughts aside as she did not want to remember those nightmares of getting beaten and r***d mercilessly by her monster husband. She opened her eyes and looked at her copy. She was so lost in her thought that she did not notice a nerd boy sat beside her. She looked to her left and found a boy in big classes bringing out his notebook from his bag. Seeing a mathematics book on his desk, Rosalyn wanted to see the content of that book. She did not know if that boy would get scared of her or not, but she asked, "Can I see your mathematics book for a while?" That boy looked at Rosalyn with his vibrant grey eyes with a blank look on his face. After that, he gave her a nod and began to search for his pen from his bag. Thanking him, she took that book from his desk. She opened that book and saw the content. She started ruffling pages with great concentration not caring about gazes on her. Some figures looked tricky to her, but she was excited to know the rules of solving those problems. Soon the mathematics lecturer entered and Rosalyn gave that book to that boy's desk. Mrs. Walker, the lecturer's eyes fell on Rosalyn, and she frowned a bit.  Even though she knew Rosalyn was a good student, but she was notorious and a trouble maker in their classes. Seeing her, Mrs. Walker said, "Ms. Rosalyn Evans, are you taking mathematics for class eleven?" Rosalyn stood up and politely said, "Yes, ma'am. I have decided to take the mathematics." The lecturer nodded and said, "Come and talk to me at the end of this class, okay?" Nodding, she said, "Sure, ma'am." Saying, Rosalyn sat on her chair. Most of the students in that class did not like the idea of Rosalyn taking mathematics and is going to be with them for two years which would be great torture for them. A few of them decided to change their stream because of fear of Rosalyn. They looked like they were about to cry. Their change of expression did not go unnoticed by their mathematics lecturer. She sighed in irritation and said internally, "I hope Ms. Evans doesn't trouble any of them this time. The good thing is, she is not going to be in the same class with her friends who are now in twelfth standard."  The class started and Mrs. Walker started with limits. She explained how limit works and solved some problems on the board. She decided to the next day she would introduce her students to the derivative. She wanted to cover the Calculus portion first as those are important and also students like to solve questions on derivation the most. Not only that, the calculus portions, mainly Derivation and Integration are going to be useful to solve most of the Physics questions afterward.  She gave five questions to solve on the limit and gave ten minutes to her students. She left her chair and came in front of her students. One by one she began to see her students copy. When her eyes fell on Rosalyn's copy, she was stunned to see she has already solved those problems within five minutes without missing a single step. She solved every question correctly. Rosalyn did not notice her teacher was standing just beside her. She was busy checking her notebook and noting down the book's name which she was going to issue from the library or order them online as she will reach her home after school. Even though Mrs. Walker heard from her coworkers that Rosalyn was a brilliant student, she never believed in them. To her, Rosalyn must have threatened someone to show her or his paper and she has copied their paper. Seeing Rosalyn solved every question before her classmates, she felt ashamed of herself for judging her and decided to help Rosalyn to bring a good score on Mathematics.
