Chapter 4 : Rebirth

It was midnight when there was a girl seventeen years old who was coming back to life. That girl has been in a coma for over a year. She met a car accident when she was coming back from a shopping mall in Y city. 

Her parents have called a lot of experienced doctors from abroad only to cure their only daughter soon. They tried as much as possible, but could not do anything about it. But her parents didn't lose hope in getting their daughter back. 

The doctors wanted to tell them the truth that the chances of her come back from a coma were very less. Later they decided to try after seeing how miserable the motionless girl's parents were looking to see their only daughter on death bed. 

Felicity opened her eyes and could not see anything as the light in her cabin was off. She tried to move her body, felt her muscle seemed stiffer more than necessary. She tried to move her mouth, but couldn't. 

What is wrong with me? How could- I am alive! She couldn't believe in her fate.

Her throat was very dry as if she did not drink water for a while. She felt heavy as if she was crushed under something. Even to she was numb and stiff, she could move her fingers at least. I have to run. 

She was thrashing here and there. Unknowingly she pressed an alarm which alerted all the doctors who have been in charge of her, directly ran toward the cabin. She has no idea what's going on in her cabin. 

As she lay there, she began to remember what happened to her earlier. Her parents used to love her when she was little. As her mother died, her father began avoiding her as she reminded him about his wife. Then he brought a woman and a girl her age saying they were her new family. Then her stepmother and her daughter began to torture her, and her father did nothing to stop them. Later he died, and torture on her increased in ten folds. Her stepmother sold her to a man who has a link with human trafficking. Her life ended at the time her mother left her alone with her father who least cared about her afterward. 

Those three horrible years haunted her that night. The way that person used to torture her, and abuse her, made her feel she should have died before her birth. She used to think that person was her husband. At the time she came to know the truth, it was too late. She still wanted an escape from that hellhouse. When she heard about her selling to another person, she decided it was time to take action. At the time when another man went to take her to his home, she snatched a gun from one of the men and shot herself.

She never wanted to take her life, but she has no option left. To a woman, her self-respect is everything in her life. She knew her soul never get peace if she kills herself. Before taking that action, she asked forgiveness from God. She knows God gifted us life for some purpose to fulfill, and he takes our life when he thinks we, humans got to accomplish our mission in this world. She begged God to give her a second chance to live again and get to take revenge from those who hurt her and saved girls who are in danger. 

Felicity was shocked thinking about how she could survive after what she did with her. Did they take me to the hospital? Are they coming for me to take me back to hell? Her thought broke when she heard the door opened. Soon, doctors, nurses entered her hospital room. Some looked relieved, and some looked surprised as if they never thought she would wake up. Then a couple entered and rushed toward her bed. Both of them were shading tears of joy after seeing her. Felicity blinked a couple of times at them only.

The woman sobbed, breathless, "R-Rosalyn, y-you are awake." Felicity got confused. She could not process what that woman said. I am Felicity. Then why is she calling me Rosalyn? That woman held her face and said with a smile, "Do you remember me? I am your mom. And this person beside me- " She held that man's arm and said, " -is your dad." 

Felicity looked at that man with a puzzled look on her face. Who are they? That man asked in sadness, "Can't you remember us, princess?" The woman who claimed to be her mother began to cry after seeing their daughter can't remember them. But they are happy their daughter is back. Her mother touched her face, confirming that whether her daughter is awake in real. She smiled through her tears to see her daughter come back to life after over a year. 

Soon, doctors checked her up and told her parents, "Ms. Evans is in stable condition. Except for her weakness, her body is functioning normally. As she hit her head in the accident, she is in a state of amnesia now. Soon, she will remember everything. She will need physical rehabilitation as she has been lying for over a year. Then you can take her home, Mr. and Mrs. Evans. For now, she needs some rest, and we should not force her to remember everything which might deteriorate her mental condition."

Soon, they left Felicity's cabin. She focused on her memory, and everything falls in their places. She is someone else now and also her. The girl to whom Felicity's soul transferred, is Rosalyn Evans. She is the daughter of Selina Evans and Andrew Evans. Her old was only sixteen when she met a car accident after coming from a shopping mall. She has been in a coma for a year, and now she is up, but this is not her. 

Rosalyn is the only heir of Evans Textiles and the daughter of a multibillionaire. They are one of the most powerful families in Y city. Her parents did everything for their daughter to bring back to life. Every day they used to come to see her. After shading their tears, they took their leave. Felicity didn't know how to react. Then she thought, "Maybe it is an indication from the Lord to live my life again and get back to those who hurt me before my rebirth. But there has a challenge for me, which is I have to play the role of Rosalyn." She stayed in the hospital for two months and then she was allowed to go home.

Evans Villa is situated in the main city, where wealthy people usually stay with their families. Seeing the architecture of their villa, made Felicity awestruck. The couple did not react as they were under the impression that their daughter lost her memory and that was why everything seems new to their daughter. As Felicity entered Rosalyn's room, her eyes fell on the dressing table, which was filled with cosmetics and all of her boxes of ornaments. She shifted her eyes to the study table and walker toward her. There was a report card on the table. She saw Rosalyn passed her tenth grade before she made an accident. Seeing her marks, Felicity knew despite being a rebel, Rosalyn was sharp in her study.

Before rebirth, Felicity could not continue her study because of her stepmother. But she sneakily went to her half-sister's room and used to read her books when they were not home. Luckily none of them get to catch her and in that way she got to complete her ninth standard until her stepmother sold her to a double of her aged man in the name of their marriage. She stopped thinking about them as she had something else to think about. A new school year was beginning. 

But the first thing she decided to ask her new parents was to bring her some normal clothes as the clothes Rosalyn used to wear were either too revealing or a little too short for Felicity's liking. Mrs. Evans, herself went to buy clothes for their daughter. Seeing her new clothes, Felicity became pleased and thanked her parents for being her clothes. She was looking forward to the day of going to school.
