Habol hiningang isinandal ni Cadnys ang pagod na katawan kay Glenn. Niyakap niya ito. Natapos nila nag mainit na pakikipagdaupang-palad nila.
"I never thought that I'm still weak, Glenn. Bakit kahit ayaw ng utak ko'y napipilit mo pa rin ako sa bagay na 'to?" hinihingal na sambit ni Cadnys. Nasa wheelchair pa rin sila sa mga oras na iyon.
"'Cause your heart used to love me, Cad. And it will not fade into your heart." Baritonong sambit ni Glenn saka marahang hinawakan ang braso niya.
"I need you, Cad. Please accept me again, I promise that from now on, I will defend and protect you, and never leave you..." sabi ni Cadnys na noo'y ngumiti.
"Pipiliin mo ako?"
"Yes."
"Kahit na masaktan mo si Sofia?" tanong ulit ni Cadnys.
Tumahimik si Glenn at umayos.
