After spending a few hours with Ava, I go straight to the party. There is no work tonight, so it's just the party. I walk into the old run-down barn, and its essence pulses through my mind. It’s too similar. The only difference is the number of people, the music, and the laughter. It’s not darkened, quiet, and drowning in screams. I look across the flood of people, trying to rid my mind of the memories. I’m getting to recognise more and more of these people.
