*Heaven’s POV*
It’s been a hell of a long day, and I can’t wait to get into my bed, but I’m still feeling very restless, so I settle myself on the old log of wood that is stacked at the back of our small hut. My mind is racing with different thoughts. I have been thinking about Lisa’s brother for most of the day, and also of Drew. Drew had tried to kiss me in school today and if I had let it, it would have happened. I don’t know where the strength came from that I used in shoving him aside.
I would have felt on top of the world if it were to be on another day. Drew was my biggest crush, and gaining a kiss from him would have meant something to me, but no, I did not feel anything apart from disgust and the feeling that I had to avoid him henceforth, and I know this has nothing to do with
