I don’t know if I would be able to keep this from Drake but we had decided not to tell anyone about it at least for now. Our ‘savior’ dropped us a few meters from our pack and we had to walk a considerable distance before getting to the gates. It was already way past midnight and everyone would be asleep but it was funny that we were not the least scared about being out that late especially after the recent rogue attack.
Well, we still felt like warriors, duh, and I still wonder how both our mates had not come to our rescue. I had seen Heaven fight in a way that I had not thought she could. She had fought off two hefty men while I struggled with Lisa and I had heard her break a few bones after that fall but she had quickly recovered and fought bravely.
