Anxiety got the best of me the minute Alex called Jaxon yelling over why he took me shopping. I knew it would be an issue just because he asked me first and I turned him down. It wasn't going to be any fun driving for half an hour with a mean, bullish and arrogant man like Alex. I'm glad Jax and I went shopping together, It was fun and I was free to be myself and didn't have to worry about being snapped at, told off or humiliated in public.
Although I do expect him to understand the reasons why I turned down his offer, I can understand why he is bothered that I ended up saying yes to his friend. He summoned us to the pool lounge and he and Jax nearly got into a fight over me. Jax stood up for me and defended by honour even if it meant risking a fight between him and his best friend
