In Love With His Mistress

Alicia walked out of her room and leaning at the door, glanced around her apartment. She had never expected that just in one year everything would change so promptly. It felt like yesterday when she used to sway her half-naked body in the nightclub and score for her living. 

A juvenile and fragile girl just at the age of 21 she was, with long hair and almond blue eyes. Her height was 5 feet and her body was in perfect curve shape. She was truly a heaven-made angel, who could make any man drool with her charm. Yet, being pretty she ended up being mistress due to her dismal life.

Every human has a turning point in their life where their life takes a turn in an unexpected direction. For Alicia that turning point was not losing her mother soon after she was born nor, was it when her father died due to excessive alcohol consumption when she was just five. Neither was staying with her aunt and uncle nor, was losing them both in an accident.  Neither was when the responsibility of her cousin brother Ivan was put into her shoulder nor, was it when getting a job with difficulty in a nightclub.

For her, that turning point was when she met Ace right after when Ivan was diagnosed with Cardiovascular Disease. She had to transform herself into his mistress so that she could get to pay the high hospital bills with the help of Ace.

Ace, a billionaire, wanted a mistress who could be his submissive and would remain in his grasp for which Alicia was perfect. He wanted her for his b**m experimental object, which was not possible with his wife Kate.

And as per Alicia, she was yearning for a job that would pay her well and she could clear Ivan’s hospital bills. This was not easy for her, as getting a job that would pay her well was the most difficult thing in her city.

So when she met Ace, she accepted his offer in a second because all she wanted was to save her only family member Ivan. Losing her parents and foster parents was all enough for her. She didn’t aspire to lose the last family member. For which she was ready to cross any limit.

Being a mistress was not an easy job. Not definitely when the person was tough and cold-hearted who had a sweet wife at his home.

His wife Kate was the most honest and innocent wife Ace had married. She had no objection to Ace having a mistress and that was the reason he used to love his wife truly. He was so gentle and loving towards his wife. 

Whenever Alicia used to see them both together, she used to get resentful of Kate. She also wanted to be pampered and lavished with love like Kate. 

She didn’t want to be a mistress but she had no other choice and there was no chance of her getting lavished by love and pampered with care. She too wanted a man who would protect her.

But her life never progressed to the track where she wanted it to drive. It always dragged her to the place where she was forced to live no matter how miserable and tough it was. She had to do it not for herself but Ivan.

Thinking about her dismal life, she walked to the couch and plonked on it. Cupping her head on her hands, she recalled the things that happened at the hospital.

“Heart surgery is needed as soon as possible, but we are still not able to find the donor!”

When the voice of the doctor echoed in her head, the voice of Ivan also reverberated fresh on her mind.

“Am I going to die, Cia?”

“Mamma was good, dadda was also good, so God took them away. I am also good, so he might take me…”

“I have to be bad to stay here with you…”

“No…” she stood on her feet and mumbled, pacing back and forth, “no, nothing will happen to my Ivan. I will not let anything happen to him.”

She flinched when her cell phone rang suddenly. Seeing the caller ID, she hurriedly grabbed the phone and pressed the answer key.

“Answered in two rings. That is impressive,” said Ace from the other side of the phone.

“Um yeah!” Alicia said absently.

“Anyway, pack your bag. We are going on a trip,” ordered Ace.

“What trip? What about your best friend who was going to be with you for one week,” she queried in astonishment.

“He left already. Something came up to him and he just left. By the way, why are you so interested in my best friend? Wait a minute, are you thinking of seducing him?” 

Alicia’s eyes grew red in anger but she chooses to lose her temper. So she said in a calm voice, “I didn’t say that.”

“Ha! Even if you try to seduce him, you will not be able to do that. As he is not the man who would fall for your beauty like me. You can seduce me but not that decent man…”

Gulping the anger inside, she said, “I didn’t seduce you, Ace. Don’t forget that you were the one who gave me the offer of being your mistress.”

“Seems like my little caterpillar has turned into a butterfly and now is trying to flap her wings. But don’t forget the deal which we made when you were a caterpillar will still be there no matter how beautiful a butterfly you are reincarnated into. Your wings will always be on my clasp. So you better leave the idea of flapping your wings. Now no more discussion, pack your bags, I am on my way.”

“But…” Ace disconnected the call without hearing her. “I need to see Ivan before leaving,” she said in a whispering tone staring at the black screen which was clear that she was not going to meet Ivan for how many days that also she didn't know.
