Jake’s point of view Day of festival   I get out of the shower and I hear a knock at my bedroom door.  “I’m getting dressed, Ellie. What’s up?” I ask. “I’m bored,” she whines.  “I’m getting ready, are you ready for Granny’s? Do you have an overnight bag?” “Yup!” “Did you pack your toothbrush?” I ask, through the door as I dry off.  “Oops,” she calls, and I hear her feet pitter-patter away.  Tonight is the blue moon festival, and to say I’m excited is an understatement. I can’t wait to enjoy the night with Mora. Both of our kids are being watched until tomorrow, so there is no need to rush back home for sitters tonight.
