He stops by my place to pick me up at 11:45 am I thought we were going to the packhouse, that’s where the warriors always go for lunch. But as I take in the sight before me, I am surprised to see a picnic basket and a blanket in his arms. “What’s all this,” I ask, and my heart throbs with happiness. “I figured a picnic would be nice,” he smiles, and there he is making me melt again. “I never took you for such a romantic,” I admit and he smiles playfully. I take his arm and he leads the way. We head down by the park to the garden area. It’s a beautiful place for a picnic, even in the fall.
