Emily was hesitant. She had no idea what to do that would make him come because he was radiating anger and she could easily smell it on him. She was aware that everyone would be disappointed if he went inside smelling like that. But she didnt know him that long to do something that would calm him.
Zach was refusing to even meet her eyes staring at the ground as if it was interesting and huffing furious breaths. She knows a lot about Alphas as her brothers and her father are one. It is not easy for them to control their anger and it was definitely not easy for her dad.
"Zach, hey, it's alright" She tried to use her omega voice. She was a bit angry on him for not talking about finding a mate but maybe he was busy with all the preparations for his niece christening that he forgot.
"Whatever" He rolled his eyes and walked out of there not even sparing her a look. It stung her even more than it should because she was waiting for him to acknowledge her and fulfill his promise of courting. Maybe she should just let that go considering his behaviour so hostile and indifferent towards her.
"Emily" Someone yelled to which she looked up and noticed a familiar face but she wasn't able to recognise her name. So Emily just looked at her with a smile.
"How are you?" The beta screamed looking at her to which Emily shrugged.
"You really don't remember me, do you?" The beta asked with a small smile. The amount of times Emily heard that should inside her pride of being omega and recognising everyone but she was just used to it. She was different than others it seemed.
"I'm sorry. It's been a long time since I have been here so I don't recognise anyone." Emily gave a tight lipped smile and the beta nodded her head. It was flattering that someone understood her dilemma instead of questioning her of her abilities.
"That's not a problem. I am Sara, Zach's cousin. We both used to play together when we were young."
Emily nodded her head, trying to remember and a vision flashlight in our mind of two girls running around in a park while holding hands. Emily tried to sniff the scent from that vision so that she could place the exact one and recognise her.
"Yes yes I remember you now. You used to have pig tails all the time." Emily laughed to which Sara giggled.
"That was really impressive. Anyways let's go inside the christening is about to begin" Sara pulled her by hand when Emily felt a jolt of electricity pass inside her. It was strange and she was sure her eyes were glowing by then and she shook her head to calm her omega threatening to break free.
"Hey..." Sara peeked over her shoulder, concerned look on her face, "Are you alright?"
"Yeah... It was just... Let's go inside" Emily enthusiastically said and walked ahead of her.

Angela was the most hyperactive kid Emily had ever seen. She was already running around in the circle instead of sitting calmly. Everyone were gathered around and sitting on the floor while what she thought were Angela's where is sitting beside the circle which was considered to be made from moons light whatever that was.
"I, Lucas Morretti, Alpha of the pack pray to all the elements to bless my grandchild, Angela Conti. And here by swear that every wolf, every person present here will be forever grateful for your kind blessing." His voice boomed throughout the room and she was not surprised about it because he was an Alpha who knows to control his voice. She noticed that each and every member of their pack had their head bent down as if they were actually praying to the moon goddess.
She looked the word and noticed the girl, Angela curiously looking at everyone with a grin on our face when her eyes fell on Emily. She waved at Emily and gave her a huge smile which made Emily curious but still she returned her smile. It was as if she knew her already.
"I request my beta to please present the trays in front of of the wolf." Emily looked curious at that and eyed the beta who was holding a huge tray with three smaller trays in it. She looked over at her mother who was busy talking with Ariana. If Emily concentrated enough she could easily hear them but she didn't want to eavesdrop on their talks. Besides she had a hunch that it must be definitely regarding her being Zach's mate and how much they were excited for them or rooting for them all along and finally they are mates.
"As we all know these three trees represent the nature of the wolf, the very existence. But as a Alpha it is my duty to inform about all these trays. The first tray holds crown which means that it is a symbol of leadership and the very meaning of crown is associated with Alpha. If Angela Conti, my granddaughter chooses the first one she is an Alpha. The second one represents a sword. The most powerful weapon for protection. It is associated with being a protector of Alpha, a Beta." He took a deep breath and looked around. Emily was interested in seeing which one would Angela choose.
The children below age of five usually don't have the heightened sense of being in contact with their wolf. Their choice is a purely based on instance and not what the wolf says. Emily looked above again as Lucas continued his speech.
"And the very last one represents riches. The omega is the most powerful of all our wolves because they bear our children. The riches are symbol of them being precious and should be treasured forever."
Emily wanted to rolled eyes at the obvious. Of course they were the superior, even though they lacked physical strength, they had the strength to bring Alphas to the knees.
"Angela, can you please pick one of them?" Lucas asked looking at his granddaughter who nodded her head and immediately raced through the the circle and collected the riches from the plate. Everyone in the crowd erupted in cheers.
She was an omega. Emily could smell it. She never understood why they celebrated the christening because it was evident she was an omega without even having to pick something on the tray.
"Sara are you one of the pack member?" Emily asked as she eyed the tattoo on Sara's wrist.
"Isn't it obvious. I am not, though I asked my parents repeatedly they won't allow me to join this pack. I love this place"
Emily nodded her head. She was envious because of the fact that everyone loved the Bloodmoon pack. Many of them wanted to join the pack solely for it being the most powerful pack and also so because Lucas was the Alpha. He was one of the council members just like Emily's brothers.
"It is a good place. Very close to woods" Emily nodded her head head, trying not to give away her feeling.
"It's not just that. This pack is extremely powerful and no one has ever defeated them. Have you seen their training grounds? They are dangerous and so advanced. I used to train here still I got accepted for my university and after that my parents didn't allow me to come back here for training." Sara let out a sigh.
Emily thought about it for a moment. She had heard stories about Lucas from her father but she never realise the strength of his pack. They could be a great help for Roman Clan. If they have so much strength they could easily protect the omegas of her clan. She hated to ask help but at this time it seemed she had no option.
"Come on let's go. We have to you whisper good wishes to Angela." Sara said and stood up from the ground. Emily nodded and followed her.

Emily notice that after Lucas declared that Angela was an omega the only thing they have to do is bless her for good life and whisper good wishes near Angela. And then they were scheduled to go for the feast in the dining hall.
Emily tapped her feet nervously against the floor as it was her chance to whisper good wishes. She was not that experienced in the area. So she took a deep breath.
"Emily" Ariana, Zach's mother called out to which Emily sat down on her hunches in front of Angela.
"Hi" Angela waved excitedly which made Emily to narrow her eyes at that.
"Hey. Do you know me already?" She asked softly to which Angela nodded her head with the bright smile on her face.
"Yes. I saw you. In my vision, you were with my uncle." The entire crowd fell into silence. Everyone were listening in on the conversation.
"You are his mate?" Angela screeched.
"Yes I am"
