Chapter 5

“Hey Minnie babe, wake up. Breakfast’s ready.”

I was awoken by hearing Mirae’s voice outside of my door. I slowly opened my eyes and instantly touched my nape.

I let out a deep sigh when I felt Gavin’s bite still there.

“Damn it.”

I was actually hoping that everything’s just a dream.

“Hey Minerva, I ain’t calling you again so wake up before I pull the s**t out of you from that bed.”

That’s Mirae’s warning voice already. I sighed and got up from my bed and washed up before going to the dining table. Mirae just finished on setting up the table for the both of us.

“Take a seat, I know that you’ve been skipping eating breakfast while I was away.”

I chuckled and smiled at Mirae and mouthed ‘Thank You’ at her. Mirae really knows me. It’s true, I have been skipping my breakfast because I really can’t cook and I always forget to order something before going to work.

I sat and ate the food Mirae prepared for me.

“How’s the food?” she asked. I smiled and gave her a thumbs up. Mirae smiled.

“I prepared something for you to eat later at work—”

“Let’s just eat it now.” I said to Mirae.

“Why?”

“I just don’t feel like going to work right now Mirae.”

“Oh… Is it because of him?”

I just nodded my head. Mirae sighed.

“Okay let me get—” Mirae’s words were cut off when the doorbell rang. Mirae looked at me. “Did you expect some visitors or something?” she asked to me. I just shook my head.

“Any deliveries? Did you order something online?” she asked again.

“Oh, maybe it’s the shoes that I ordered last week.” I answered.

“Okay, just keep on eating there, I’ll get the door.” I smiled at Mirae.

While I was chewing my food. I wondered why Mirae’s taking a lot of time to return. I drank my water and went to check on her.

“Mirae, what’s taking you so lo—” my words were cut off and my eyes widened when I saw who was standing in front of the door of my house. Mirae looked at me with her jaw dropped.

The person who was standing in front of the door was Gavin. Yes, Gavin. The Alpha, the one who marked me, the douchebag and my mate.

“W-What are you doing here?”  I instantly pulled Mirae away from the door.

Gavin smirked and my eyebrows furrowed when I noticed that Gavin kept on looking at my chest. I looked at my chest and my eyes widened when I realized that I was just in my satin pajamas and I wasn’t wearing bra inside.

Holy s**t my n*****s were perky. That explains why Gavin kept on looking at my chest and was smirking like a freaky little devil!

I immediately covered my chest with my arms.

“No need to cover babe, I’ve seen it, I even—” I hissed at him. Gavin raised both of his arms in the air and grinned.

“Aight, no need to hiss at me. Hey there Mirae!” His eyes shifted at Mirae who was beside me. Normally, Mirae would glare and hiss at him but now, Mirae’s just acting weird. She looks… scared.

“Mirae…” I looked at Gavin.

“Hey babe, don’t glare at me like that, I didn’t do anything to your friend, it’s just that Mirae was with—”

“Enough talking Gavin! Leave us alone!” Mirae shouted at Gavin.

Gavin’s expression suddenly changed.

“Do you really want me to call him before YOU leave this house and let me have a talk with my mate Mirae huh?”

“Wait! I’m confused!” I said. Mirae’s hand curled into a fist. I really thought that she was gonna punch the living s**t out of Gavin when she let out a deep breath and removed the apron from her body.

I looked at Mirai confusingly, Mirae just gave me an apologetic look.

“Mirae—”

“I’ll be back tomorrow.” Mirae said.

“Don’t, Minerva’s staying with me.” Gavin said and pulled me close to him. I tried to pull away from his grasp but Gavin was just too strong.

“So… why don’t you just go before I call your Alpha’s who’s been looking for you?”

My eyes widened. Mirae bit her lower lip and mouthed ‘sorry’ before leaving.

I immediately pulled away from Gavin and this time, Gavin let me go.

“What the f**k was that?!” I shouted at him.

“What was what babe?”

“Stop acting innocent Gavin! What was that?! Mirae has an Alpha?!”

“I think you’ve already heard enough earlier.” Gavin continued and passed by me. My jaw dropped when he sat on my sofa and pat on the space near him.

“I ain’t telling until you sit beside me, mi bella.” He said while smirking—still tapping the space beside him. I sighed and sat beside him. I made sure that I’m still covering my chest with my arms.

“Talk.” I said.

“So I know you’re not that dumb to realize that your friend really didn’t go abroad just for a business meeting right?” He asked.

I nodded my head. “Yes.”

“So about the Alpha thingy…” I looked at him and my eyes widened when Gavin grinned.

“Why did you stopped talking?” I asked.

“Well, it’s not really my business to talk about this thing to you, it’s best that Mirae tells you about this.” He said while grinning. I sighed and was about to stand up from the sofa when Gavin pulled me closer to him. My eyes widened when I realized that I was already on top of him.

“Gavin! Let me go!” I shouted at him.

“Should I let you go? Hmmm…. I don’t think so.” Gavin grinned and looked at my chest. I forgot that I wasn’t covering my chest anymore because Gavin pulled my arms away! I gulped and bit my lower lip when I noticed that familiar lustful eyes looking at me. I blushed when I felt something creaming in the middle of my thighs.

“f**k Gavin! Let me go!” I tried to pull away from Gavin but he won’t just move. I felt the heat of my body rising and my hands unexpectedly landed on Gavin’s face—accidentally slapping him on the process.

I stopped moving and looked at Gavin. He fell silent and I suddenly felt guilty when I saw his left cheek reddened from my slap.

“G-Gavin…”

“I really was planning to go slow to you today.”

“Huh?”

I shrieked when he suddenly changed our positions and he’s already on the top of me.

“What the f**k?!”

“Yes babe, you finally got something right. We’re gonna fuck.”
