Later, awakened by a dream, I saw a luminous, crescent-shaped moon. But the dream about my brother prevented me from sinking back into blissful sleep, and I needed to clear my thoughts. I tiptoed out of C.E.C.I.L. and breathed in the cool, pre-dawn air. The heavy stillness weighed on me while I watched for daybreak.
