Playlist - They Don't Know About Us by One Direction Sheldon The past two weeks have been the best of my life. I'm finally getting along with Caleb and have been silly texting each other non-stop. I feel like giddy teenager making progress with her crush. We share little kisses now and then, he sends me flowers at work, we talk late night about our day and I'm thrilled to be with him in a non-s****l way. Of course, our makeout sessions turns heated every now and then, his burning intensity makes me hot for him, but when things are at the edge of losing control, he automatically stops it. That made grow a little respect for him. I know how Caleb is. I've been watching his moves like a hawk for the past few years, and this side of him is completely new. He's turned into a different person…… or a beast waiting to unleash? Clearing any thoughts from my mind, I look at the bags of expensive clothes laid out in front of me. A same note attached to each one of it. Sheldon, I know you wouldn't let me take you on a shopping spree and I can't really argue with that pretty face, but you can't refuse to return something that has already been purchased. So, this is little gift is for you. I would love to see you wearing these clothes. Love, Caleb I sigh reading it knowing he wouldn't take no for an answer and I just couldn't resist pleasing him, so I decide to keep it. I read the time on my watch, which shows I'm late for work. I quickly grab my knapsack from the kitchen counter and rush out of my little home. I practically storm through the crowds to get to Samantha’s penthouse. Usually, no one bothers if I'm late, but this time Samantha was home having a leisure day. I cursed Caleb under my breath for keeping me awake till late night by texting me. Good, God! Finally after, repeatedly pushing people out of my way, I made it just in time. I rang the bell, and found a furious looking Rose opening the door. “There you are. Samantha will be up in no time.” She pulled me inside when I was fully capable of walking on my own. “Hey!” I yelped at her sudden pull. “What has gotten in you?” She just blazed her brown eyes at me not saying anything. I got my hand out of her hold and we went to the kitchen. Aletha, another maid was prepping Samantha’s breakfast. “Samantha is having a cheat day?” I said, noticing the very indulgent pancakes, choux pastries, hash brown etc. “You think?” she muttered, sarcastically. What's with that tone? Shrugging it off, I decide to get to my daily routine and head towards the pool area. “What are you doing?” Rose calls me out. “Hmm… to work.” “No, you have to take this to Samantha,” she said pointing the tray of food. “But that's not my job. I clean things, remember.” “Tell me about it,” she scoffed, arrogantly. This change in her behaviour is throwing me off-guard. What's her problem with me? “Did I do something to irk you?” I ask her in all seriousness. “No, why would you? I'm just asking you to take this up to Samantha.” “Fine.” I was bothered by it. Regardless, I took the breakfast tray to Samantha. I knocked slightly on her order and she yelled a ‘come in’ to me. Samantha had just woken up from her sleep. Her eye mask was on her forehead and she was leaning back on her headboard. “I bought your breakfast,” I said, smiling nervously. She just looked outside of her floor to ceiling windows, not acknowledging me. I sat the tray on the coffee table and quickly excused myself. As I was about to step out of her room, I was stopped by Samantha’s question. “What’s your name?” I turned around and faced her, my face drained all it’s color at her glacial tone. “Huh?” She rolled her eyes at me and then muttered angrily, “Answer the f*****g question.” “Sheldon.” My voice was quiter than usual. I was suddenly afraid of what might make her ask my name. Samantha doesn't bothers with the people working in her house and she only knew Dolores by name , she was the head of all the maids. “What business do you have with my brother?” I gulped, unable to answer her question. “Do you want him for who he is or you just wanted to be a rich man's w***e?” “Excuse me?” I snapped at her regretted the second the words left my mouth. “Just so you know he is going to drop you like his many w****s. You aren't special.” Tears welled up in my eyes at her words. I began to leave, but couldn't help and hear Samantha’s words. “Don’t fall in love with him, he won't give a shit.”
