75. China Resort

2 hours later. We leave the spa after trying everything.

Tye and Nik are in the pack house now.

"I took him to the spa."

Thora nods. "We're redoing the pack house. We want to add some of the spa stuff."

Nik smiles. "Mine's done if you want to go see it."

"I DO."

We go to the China inn. Nik gives us a tour of his spa. It has no one in it, but everything is working. Then we check out a spa suite.

"Oh wow. This is perfect Nik." I look at the huge bath.

"And that bed. I want to lay down on it. So many pillows."

Nik smirks. "Go look at the shower."

Thora and I about take each other out to get in the shower room. It's huge and has like 4 shower heads.

I nod. "I'm never taking a shower anywhere else."

"This is amazing. Even the furniture in the sitting room is oversize and comfortable." Tye plops down on the couch. "I could f*****g sleep here even."

"And then the balcony." Nik opens the door.

Mason stares over the edge at the water park. "This is amazing."

"We're going to have to take him to the city garden before we leave."

"We're looking at the spa stuff right now Mason." Thora pokes him.

He looks at everything on the balcony. "That soak bath out here. And the hanging bed. I get it now. It's perfect."

I smile. "Do you like the spa stuff? Would you want your bedroom done with it? You have a lot of room, we could easily put a few things in. Instead of a 2nd office or kitchen."

Elek laughs. "They keep trying to give him an apartment in his house."

Mason points at the bed.

"You want that bed?"

"Yea, that exact stuff. The shower, the bath, all of it. Even the damn furniture. I even want this soak bath outside on the balcony and the hanging bed thing. That smelling room. Could you put that in my room? Put it right in the middle. I don't want mud in my bedroom. But that other salt soak thing was amazing."

Thora nods. "We'll do what we can. You've rattled off everything now."

"Except the mud. I don't think he likes mud in the house at all." We nod and he starts laughing.

I look out over the pool area. "Look at the colorful trees. LOOK A GONG. I HAVE TO RING IT."

Me, Tye, and Thora go for it at the same time. We all jump off the balcony and fly over.

I grab the hammer thing and hit it so hard. I swear you could hear it for miles away. Then they do it. Then we take turns. The boys walk over and look at us up on the hill.

Elek looks at Nik. "You know this is your life now."

Nik holds his arms out for me. I jump off the hill and he catches me. I give him a big hug. "It's so fun."

"Look around, babygirl."

There are pools and slides and floating rivers everywhere. It's amazing. He has food places that look like they're floating on water. Tables and chairs in little shaded spots. Everything is colorful and there are statues and shooting water. There's a dragon that breathes fire in the middle of everything. It's on a pedestal on top of a pool. Then there's hanging lanterns in a gazebo thing that has tables and benches. So many funny looking flowers everywhere. Every little building has a funny roof on it. Then there are walking bridges that connect everything.

Elek and Mason start laughing.

Elek says, "I think you broke all their brains, Nik." Nik turns around and laughs.

I jump up and down in Nik's arms.

Thora screams, "I'M GOING DOWN THAT SLIDE."

Tye falls down the hill. Or Thora pushed him. I don't know. But they take off for the slides.

"HEY."

They stop and look at Nik.

"Let's eat first, then I will turn the water on. You're not going to do anything but burn your asses up if you go down now. And there are swimsuits in there too. We can each get 1 after we eat."

I point at a river kind of far away. It goes under a bridge. "What are you pointing at, babygirl?"

I hug him and cry.

"Someone's overwhelmed." He picks me up, and I wrap my arms and legs around him. "You're ok. Let's get some menus. We'll sit over there in that shaded area."

Nik carries me around and puts me in my own seat. He sits beside me. Then he hands out some menus.

Thora looks at him. "Don't forget. She will not eat rice. She will puke if you put it on her plate."

Elek nods. "And nothing spicy either. You want chicken or beef?"

"Chicken."

"Did you like the sweet and sour chicken with noodles?" I nod. "Well, that was easy."

Thora nods. "I want that too. It's perfect."

Nik looks at Mason. "It has 0 spice. It's basically chicken they dip in sweet sauce."

I smile at him. "You can try mine. It's good."

"Thank you. I'll try yours, but I want something a little different."

20 minutes later, we have all kinds of different foods in front of us. I think they each got something different. I eat about half mine and give it to Mason. He tries it and likes it. Then Tye takes it. After an hour, we've tried everything. Then Nik lets everyone get a swimsuit. I want to snuggle him though. I sit on the chair with him and wrap around him. He rubs my back and out I go.

I wake up an hour later. Still sleeping on him. Tre and Marcus are here too. I turn around and sit on Nik's lap.

"Were you tired baby?"

"No."

"Ok."

I hear Johen yell. Him and Coral are here now too. I snuggle Nik.

"You want to go get a swimsuit on, angel?"

I shake my head.

Marcus smiles. "You want to be left the hell alone, so you can wake up?"

I nod and they laugh.

After about 10 minutes, I get up and look at the flowers. They are pretty and different. Then I see a weird looking red ball with green fingers on it. I grab it and it falls off the plant. I take it back to the table and sit it down.

Nik smiles. "You found a Chinese dragon fruit. It's a hidden fruit that people can find and try fresh."

"I FOUND IT." I jump up and down. "WE HAVE TO TRY IT."

Thora comes running. "What did you find?"

"DRAGON FRUIT."

"I WANT TO TRY TOO." We hold it. It looks quite odd.

Nik grabs a knife. "You eat the inside. Not the outside."

Marcus smirks. "It was only a matter of time before 1 of them bit into that."

Elek nods. "You were waiting for it weren't you?"

"Damn straight. That would have been hilarious."

Nik hands us both a little piece of it. We toss them in our mouths.

I smile. "That's kind of good."

"I love it. We need these at home."

"I was expecting it to be either 'spicy' or 'taste like an olive'." Tre throws a piece in his mouth. "Oh, that is good."

The boys try it.

I smile. "I found it."

"It's very good, angel." I sit on Marcus.

Thora nods. "I think she missed you all as much as you missed her."

Marcus gives me a hug. "We sure did miss you." I fall onto his chest and put another piece of fruit in my mouth.

Thora looks around. "We have to go back. We need to get the pack house plan in. It can't be holy forever. Even though she likes the breeze."

Nik nods. "Alright, 20 minutes. Let Tye burn himself out. He was making me crazy."

Tye and Johen are racing to the top of the slides and go down them as fast as they can.

Thora shakes her head. "When will they figure out they can fly up as dragons?"

"Don't tell them that."

Thora rolls her eyes. "Yea, we all know your favorite time of day to supervise is nap time."

"I do love it when you all go down at the same time. It's so easy to know what you're doing and where you're at."

Mason looks around. "Speaking of naptime, you had better end this now, Nik. Corals sleep floating and Johen and Tye are about to kill each other."

Nik jumps up. "TIME TO GO. ONE OF YOU GET CORAL."

We go back to the pack house. Thora goes to change. Tye puts Coral on the couch, then him and Johen run off to not nap. Marcus follows them. Nik and Elek walk off together.
