9. Boy Toy

Elek, Elroy, Omar, and my mates come out and sit around the table. I snuggle Dipak and play with the pink thing. I pull on its legs, then I spin it upside down and stare at it.

"How old is she?"

"Young and very confused by this thing."

They talk and I keep spinning it. Then it pokes me in the eye. I cry and throw it in the center of the table. "You're alright sweetheart." I cry more.

"Seriously Tye. Get some damn bears or something." Tre makes a door.

"You can't find bears at the bottom of the ocean."

Tre hands me bear. I stop crying and hug it. Dipak puts me in my own seat, then everyone orders lunch.

"I don't believe I have to say this. But I guess I do. Do not leave the woman in bed with a man who is not her mate. Do not do that. I will hunt you down and beat the f**k out of you."

Marcus chokes on something. "What the f**k?"

Dipak points at Johen.

Johen jumps up. "I HAD TO GO TO THERAPY. THEY WEREN'T DOING ANYTHING. SLEEPING."

Tye jumps up and throws the pink thing at him. "PEOPLE WAKE UP YOU IDIOT."

"Whatever Tye. They aren't going to do anything."

"How can you be so sure, Johen?" Tre sits back and glares at him.

"Because she is falling apart. She was screaming and crying half the night. He saw that, and he's not that big of a jackass." Johen throws the pink thing at Tre.

Marcus rubs his eyes. "So anyone deemed not that big of a jackass you would leave her in bed with?"

"Oh f**k you all." Johen sits down. "Elek has been around forever now. He's not going away, he's not going to hurt her, and he does help a lot. It's not like I left her in there with a stranger. Dipak's the one who sent them off together anyway. Yell at him for a while."

Tre hits Dipak right in the head with the pink thing. "HE'S RIGHT. YOU ARE THE i***t WHO SENT HER ON VACATION WITH ANOTHER MAN THIS TIME."

Dipak launches it back at Tre. "OH PLEASE I DIDN'T SEND HER ON f*****g VACATION WITH HIM. YOU SENT HER TO f*****g EGYPT WITH TYE FOR A DAMN WEEK. I WAS TRYING TO KEEP HER SAFE."

"GIVE ME THAT." Omar yanks the pink thing away from Tre. "Why are you even attacking each other with a stuffed animal? Everyone sit down." Omar waits on everyone to sit down. "Now it's obvious you trust him. You trust him with her safety. You know he won't hurt her, so relax."

Marcus rolls his eyes. "Well, that doesn't mean we trust him in bed with her."

Dipak looks at Omar. "And he knows he shouldn't be in bed with her. He jumped off the god-damn balcony to not get caught this morning."

Everyone looks at Dipak, then cracks up laughing.

Elroy looks around. "This still goes back to Johen leaving them while they were sleeping. My brother didn't even know. And it was one of her mates that put him there."

Johen rips the pink thing away from Omar. "THANKS JACKASS." He throws it at Elroy.

"WELL IT'S THE TRUTH." Elroy launches it back at Johen.

Johen throws it at Dipak. "You're still the one that sent them off alone together. Hell, the first time they were in bed together I didn't have anything to do with."

"I was cold. And in the cave I was cold. The ground was cold. I like to be warm." I play with the bears' arms.

Dipak rubs his eyes. "Fuck."

Tre nods. "Let's eat."

Marcus smirks. "Jump out of windows often, Elek?"

"No, that was the first 1. I didn't mean to go over the balcony either, I went too fast out the window and couldn't stop."

We laugh and eat lunch.

Marcus smiles. "What do you want to do today?"

"I want to show you all the river in the waterpark."

"Is that where you fell asleep, sweetheart?"

"That's a river, yea."

"We can go down after lunch. I'll ride around it once with you. Then I have to go back."

"Ok."

"Yea, we can check it out for a half hour or so. You can show us." Tre smiles at me too.

I jump up. "GO CHANGE. I NEED A SWIMSUIT." I run in and change then drag every single one of them down to the waterpark after they get changed.

Marcus looks at me. "I don't want to get my hair wet. I'll do the river with you."

"OK YOU FIRST. YOU'LL LOVE IT." I get tubes for us.

All the boys sit down by the river and put their feet in.

Marcus and I ride our own floats. We hold hands and go into the aquarium part. He points out a bunch of fish to me. Then I point out the shark.

His eyes about pop out of his head. "It's amazing he got that in here. Have to tell him something is dripping."

"Yea it was doing that last time we were here too." Then the river speeds up.

More and more water drops on us. I look away from him, so he doesn't see me laughing.

Then it looks like the glass cracks. He pulls me off my tube and puts me on him. Then the water pours out, and that shark goes by again.

He smirks. Then we go down a little dip and get flooded with water. It looks like it's pouring out of the tank. The river speeds up, and we get out into the light again. The rapids throw us off the tube and into the water.

I crack up laughing.

He puts me over his shoulder. He carries me to the boys and hands me to Dipak. "Do not ride on the tube with her. You will fall in."

"Good job keeping your hair dry."

"Yea, that was well worth the effort."

Dipak smiles. "Challenge accepted." He hops on the tube and puts me right on him. "I bet we don't fall off. I can keep you on me."

He pushes us off. I lay my back on him and hear Marcus tell Tye how amazing it is.

I love my boys.

Dipak wraps his arms around me. "I bet you could ride me and I could still keep us on the raft."

I nod. "We can go around twice then."

He laughs and holds me tight. "I love you."

"I love you too." I snuggle into him.

He kisses my head as we go in the aquarium.

We come out the other side and get knocked off the tube in the rapids. He stands up and shakes his head. "Woman..." Then he laughs. "I can't believe he actually pulled that off. It was amazing."

"It really is. I love it. And every time I go in, I see a different fish or coral or something. It's perfect."

He gives me a kiss. "I'll tell Tre not to try riding with you." He carries me over and hands me to Tre. "Do not ride with her. Keep her like 10 feet away from you."

Tre laughs. Then he gives me a hug. "I don't mind getting wet. It's hot out here." He sits in a tube.

I jump on him. The tube flips and we fall in.

Omar nods. "Well Tre, you did not make it the farthest."

"I guess that means I won." He sits on the tube and Dipak catches me mid-jump.

"Woman, sit easy. He's balancing on water." He puts me on Tre and pushes us off. "She always gets so excited with him."

"Yea, she'll probably tell him all about it before they actually get there."

"About what baby?"

"AQUARIUM. A BIG BIG BIG AQUARIUM. WITH FISH AND SHARKS AND CORAL. WE GET TO GO RIGHT THROUGH IT."

"That sounds nice. I see why you get excited."

We get out the other end and stand up. He puts an eyebrow up at me.

I jump up and down laughing. He puts me on a tube and gets back on 1. "I want to do that again."

"AGAIN."

We float by the boys. "That was a nice relaxing ride, Tye. You really made a peaceful river to float on."

Tye laughs and jumps on a tube. Then they all do. We ride through it about 4 times and nearly die laughing after every time.

Then Tye gives me a hug. "I need to open it for the guests. You can still play, but I want to open it while I'm here, so I can see how it goes."

Elek nods. "That's smart. If you have any issues, you'll be here to catch them."

Tre looks at him. "Yea, I'll stay for a while and keep an eye on everything with you."

I jump on him. "You just want to ride the slides, Tre."

"How did you know woman?" Tre gives me a hug.

Dipak nods. "Alright, I'll cut out the afternoon meeting early. Then come back with Marcus. We can keep an eye on this."

"Better to be safe. We can watch for potential issues. Kane has a good eye for that s**t too."

I run and do all the swimming stuff with anyone who will join me.

After an hour, Dipak and Marcus show back up with everyone from the table and their mates. And Tye's parents and sister. And Samson. "They all volunteered to help look for issues."

After a couple of hours, we have island food for dinner.

Momma smiles. "Are you going to sell watermark passes or fishing tickets to everyone or only resort guests, Tye?"

"Only guests. I don't want extras clogging up everything for the guests."

"I WANT TO FISH DAMN IT. I NEVER DID DEEP SEA FISHING BEFORE."

"Daddy, Tye will let you go fishing."

"Maybe we can do a fishing day every month or 2 for table members who want to go. I mean, there will be room on the boat. And not everyone is going to go."

"I'm your dad. I get to go too."

"I'm Corals mate. She's on your table. I'm coming."

"I'm her nephew. I want to go."

"I'm her nephew too. I've never fished."

I jump up. "WE NEED A FAMILY DAY EVERY 2 MONTHS. THORA CAN PLAN IT. SHE'S GOOD WITH THAT STUFF. EVERYONE AND THEIR MATES AND OTHER FAMILY AND PARENTS OR NEPHEWS OR WHATEVER…" I scratch my head. "ANYWAY. SHE CAN PLAN SOMETHING OUT EVERY 2 MONTHS. LIKE FISHING OR A WATERPARK OR PICNIC OR LOOKING AT THE MARKET IN CHINA OR A ZOO. WE NEED A DAMN ZOO. OR THE COLISEUM OR A..."

"Ok sweetheart. We get it."

Thora stands up. "First family day will be next week when Tye says the boat is ready. You're right. I am very good at this."

I nod.

Asa looks at her. "What about those of us that don't want to fish?"

"THEN STAY HOME."

Momma and Asa crack up laughing.

"I could open up the waterpark for those who don't want to fish. Then we could eat here for lunch or dinner, whichever. Make it a family day here."

Dipak nods. "I like it. We could go after lunch. Fish or swim. Eat dinner here. The castle can send some fireworks, and we can set them off the boat or off the beach when the sun goes down. Then we can go back. And it can be for invited family members of advisors. The castle would pay for the food, fishing tickets, 100g for each person for the waterpark. We'll work it out. Souvenirs or extras have to be purchased by the people though."

Tye nods.

Thora looks at him. "We need to pay for ice cream too. A lot of family members never even had it. But we can do the normal ham and pineapple stuff for food. Then water to drink. If people want alcohol, they have to buy their own. Castle shouldn't pay for people's alcohol." Then she stands up and glares at everyone. "I WANT A HEAD COUNT TOMORROW."

Coral looks at her. "9... Wait Elijah's mate, Arvid, counts as family, right?"

Dipak nods. "Yes."

"Yea 9 for me."

"Can I invite your brothers?"

Dipak nods.

Marcus looks at everyone. "Keep it realistic. Don't invite every family member you've ever met. The castle would end up paying way too much and the place would be so packed it wouldn't be fun."

"I forgot to count myself."

"I forgot me too."

Momma nods. "I don't like my sisters. I won't be inviting them."

"I don't even know if I have any siblings. I got my boys." Asa snuggles Dracul.

Deb laughs. "Our family would be very confused."

Johen smiles. "I wouldn't mind bringing Jay. Haven't seen him in forever."

"He's a good boy. I heard he found himself a girlfriend."

"Girlfriends are not family."

Thora smiles. "If you had to give each of them a title that wasn't mate, what would it be?"

Coral looks at her. "Johen is definitely her boyfriend."

Thora nods. "Tye's her boy toy."

Tye winks. "I'll take that."

"What's Tre?"

"MINE."

Coral nods. "Tre's her love. Marcus is her husband. I have no idea for Dipak. I won't say it. Too many people here probably wouldn't understand anyway."

I sit up. "What?"

"Nope. To young."

I cry and pout.

Elek smiles. "She's tired again."

"NO NAP."

Tre walks up to the side of me with bear. I grab bear and he picks me up.

I wrap around him. "Mine."

"All yours, baby. I'm taking her back to the castle. See you at the morning meeting."

Dipak nods. "If she is too bad tonight, summon me."
