31. Hairbands

Dipak stands up. "Today is the family day at Tye's island. We're going to at 2. Fishing is from 3-5, or you can stay on the island and swim. Dinner will be at 6 at the outdoor bar. Everyone gets a black towel with red eyes. They are yours to keep. Make sure your guests get 1. Also, when your guests show up, you are free to leave the meeting. Make sure you're back here by 2. Remember the castle does not buy alcoholic drinks. If you want alcohol, you have to buy it yourself."

Thora raises her hand.

"Yes."

"I couldn't sleep. So, I did things." She motions to a brain.

18 brains walk in wearing different swimsuits. 9 men, 9 women. All carrying the towel that goes with the suit.

"Brains aren't kids, so you can't see those. But I do have drawings. Also, if someone's guest needs 1. Give them 1. There are some stocked for today. They cost nothing to make."

"Good thinking." I run over and take a red towel with black eyes from the brain. "Make me a black bikini."

Thora and Coral jump up and run for the other red towel. They get there at the same time and tug of war it.

"Make another 1. Before you pull it apart."

Thora turns around. "I almost forgot. I also designed a matching skirt for the girls and t-shirt for the boys. They match. Like the turtle outfit here. See, turtle on the towel. Little turtle on the suit right here. Then the little skirt matches that color of the turtle. 1 of you put the skirt and t-shirt on."

"I love them. But yea, Tye has to give the go on them."

"Bring me the skirt and shirt for the red towel set."

"ME 2. BUT MAKE IT SHORTER. COVER OUR ASSES AND THAT'S IT."

"ME 3. AND T-SHIRTS TIGHTER LIKE IN THE FUTURE."

"Your mother and Asa are coming up."

"Prinna and Deb are too."

"So is Alexa."

Mary walks in. "I NEED THE WHOLE PINK SET. KANE NEEDS THE DARK BLUE. DO THAT."

"Everyone go ahead and pick what you want. Don't forget to offer them to your guests though. They may not even have swimsuits. Once you are done, we can move these brains to the yellow sitting room. You can show guests there."

I jump up and down. "I WANT THE RED ONE WITH BLACK EYE'S TOO. ALL THE PIECES. I CAN MIX AND MATCH. MAKE IT ALL SEXY."

"ME 2."

"ME 3."

"Girls. You don't have to yell." Tre comes over and snuggles me.

"I'm discontinuing the black and red and the red and black. They will only be available to us and family, friends, whatever. I'll figure out something else for the spa that will be for all the resorts."

Then the guests start arriving, so Dipak kicks us out.

I go to my office and work on the spa. Elek and a brain show up shortly after I get there.

"I came to see if you wanted to test anything else."

"I don't have any wax up here."

The brain comes over. "I have the area you are going to have for the spa at Tye's resort. He wishes you to keep the hair place small. Because people barely even comb their hair on the island." Me and Elek laugh. "Also, the vacation packages will be located in a different area. I have information about that area as well."

"Where would he put it?"

A big red laser map pops up on the floor.

"This is the main lobby. It is located on the first floor of the adult building. As you can see..."

"I can't see anything. What am I looking at?"

"This is the main lobby. It is located on the first floor of the adult building. At Tye's resort."

I turn my head side to side, trying to understand.

Elek pulls me over and stands me beside it. "Make it bigger please. This whole thing is the first level. Back there is the advanced kitchen. A breakfast dining room. Here is the door to walk out to the beach. That way to the pool area. Swimsuit and towel shop. I guess he liked that idea."

"It's a good idea."

"Here's the lobby where the guests check in. And right there, vacation packages. It's a whole office size. About the same size as a store."

"I only need a desk."

"Where are you going to put the vouchers? You need some kind of file system in the back. Then, at the front, you can put a desk or 2. Then put a bunch of information about the packages. Some pamphlets."

"I will have to keep my wine there too. I mean, he can sell it in the shop, but I can't expect him to give it away for vouchers. He's going to pay 130g apiece."

"That's true. His resort isn't going to deal with chocolate strawberries or flowers either."

"I don't think I should do flowers. I would have to grow way too many. It seems like a lot of work."

"True. You'd be moving flowers around constantly. You would have to own your own rose fields. Strawberries are good though. What isn't sold in the packages, eat at the castle. They wouldn't go to waste and strawberries are easy to grow."

"Ok. I'll accept this. What about the spa?"

"The spa, massage, and hair area will be located on the 2nd floor, here."

A red box appears with 3 elevators on 1 side.

"She gets the whole level?"

"Yes. However, Tye has to approve it before it's built."

"Wow."

"Well, the elevators are here, that's how people are getting in. You're going to want to block that off and put an actual entrance to the spa. Then you should probably put an entrance to the hair place and the massage place off it too."

I jump out of my shoes and run down to Tye's office. I give him the biggest hug and wrap around him. "Thank you."

"I love you babydoll. This is an amazing idea. I know you'll be good at it. I do want to open it quickly though."

I let go and run back. I hear him laughing.

Elek smiles. "I was thinking, you know the area to do the body and face masks?"

"Yea."

"Why don't you do a hair mask? Not even have a hair place here. I mean, I've seen the island. No one combs their hair, he's not joking. But you could put it as a massage thing and people might like it. Wash, rinse, mask, rinse, oil, rinse, dry and style it. They could pick the style. I watched you fight with your hair the entire time we were there. A fully up style would have been good for that."

He pulls on 1 of my curls and I smile at him. He steps closer.

"I'm only here because my small children need babysitters." Elek rubs his eyes. His mom comes through the hole in the wall. "Dipak let me in, so I can babysit. I would have knocked, but you're missing a wall."

"Marcus and Nikolas took care of that problem for us."

"That was good thinking. What are you working on?"

Between the 3 of us, we get the whole spa laid out in an hour. I even pick a green color called sea glass to do the accents in the spa with. The other color is white. It even has a water feature when you get off the elevator with some bamboo growing around it.

"It's perfect."

Elek nods. "Even remembered the drains in the floors."

May smiles. "I expect a foot massage and a soak for my help."

"I'll give you a day of my deluxe relaxation package that I'm making for me."

"It comes with a whole large pizza for you mom."

Then they help with the vacation packages room. I wall off the back part of it and put a couple desks by the door with pamphlets everywhere. Then I send it to Tye.

"What else is there?"

"You keep us focused. I have never got this much done before. I need to do the towel and stuff for the spa."

"You should not put it in with the resort stuff. It should have its own spot in the spa. You can have different items too. You were already talking about a robe. And you could make it available only in your spa packages. Make those people feel even more special."

May smiles. "I like feeling special. But the colors are white and sea glass. Do not make the main color of the swimsuits white. When white gets wet you can see through it. I don't need that kind of show on vacation."

I crack up laughing. "Yea, that would be different. I would do 1 piece and 2 piece for girls. For men, it would be shorts. And I would do all of them as the main color sea glass. With the spa symbol in white."

May nods. "Put the skirts in the sea glass as well. Then I would put the shirts in white with symbols on the sea glass."

"White would be the main color of the robes and towel."

"You should make a basic sandal too. Small, medium, large, extra large style. Don't get picky about it. Basic white sandals with the spa logo on the top in the sea glass."

"MAKE SEAGLASS SHIRTS TOO. AND WHITE SKIRTS. AND BRAIN BRING THE FLOOR PLAN BACK. AND..."

Elek grabs me from behind. "Relax."

I turn around and hug him. Then I jump up and down. "I WANT."

"Slow down. Start small with the spa store. It's fine the way it was. And you don't need a crazy amount of stuff in there."

"I NEED HAIRBANDS THERE."

"We don't have to yell."

Marcus walks in and sees me jumping all over him. "Woman. What the hell?"

"She's excited about the spa."

"I NEED HAIRBANDS MARCUS."

May scratches her head. "I had no idea hairbands could bring such excitement."

Marcus looks at me. "Let go of him."

"Sorry."

"Now are you calm?"

I nod fast. Him and Elek laugh.

Tye walks in. "Where is the hair place woman? I can't f*****g find it. I know I said small, but damn."

"I changed it for the island. It's going to be in with the masks. I thought it might do better. Hair, body, and face masks. Wash, mask, oil, style dry. There will be no cutting at all. And the style will be mainly up."

"Yea, I think that will do better."

Marcus crosses his arms. "What kind of mask are you going to put on hair?"

"The kind that make your hair soft and shiny."

"What's in them?"

"Soft stuff."

"You don't have 1, do you?"

"I'm going to use the clay mask that is used on the face. Except not let it dry. It might turn into wax."

"The person who volunteered to test everything is beside you. You are not waxing my head."

"We have a simple formula for a hair mask, which does the things you ask. You would have no problem getting the ingredients from the castle stock."

"Well, that's probably safer than waxing Elek's head."

Marcus nods. "Or his balls."

"No one is touching my balls."

Elek's mom cracks up laughing. "I guess I'm not needed after all." Marcus loses it.

Nikolas comes in, rubbing his eyes. "Every single time I walk by this office, Elek is talking about his balls."

I laugh so hard I have to sit down.
