32. Family Day

Then a brain walks in with my swimsuits. I pick out the black bikini with red skirt. Then the red towel with black eyes.

Marcus shakes his head. "Woman, that's underwear."

"No it's not. It's my swimsuit."

I run to the bathroom and put the bikini on.

Marcus, Nikolas, and Elek get dark eyes. Elek's mom smacks him. He rubs his eyes.

"It's my swimsuit."

"No, that's underwear."

"NO IT'S NOT. IT EVEN GOES WITH MY TOWEL." I pick up the red towel. "SEE."

"Woman, it's underwear. You can't wear that out."

"YES I CAN."

"BITE MY ASS FRODE. IT'S MY SWIMSUIT." Thora walks in wearing the red bikini. "Frode's a jackass. I like black too."

Marcus rubs his eyes. "That's not enough to wear out."

Frode walks in. "That is underwear."

"BITE MY ASS SAMSON. YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO WEAR. I WILL NEVER HAVE s*x WITH YOU AGAIN IF YOU TRY." Coral walks in. "Oh I like the red one too."

Tre sits some papers on my desk. Then he checks me out. "Woman, you are sexy as hell."

"That's her swimsuit, Tre."

"I figured it was." Then he walks out.

Thora smiles. "I see why you like him now."

I nod.

Dipak puts his eyebrows up.

"She thinks she's wearing that out in public."

Dipak cracks up laughing. "Last time we told her what to wear, she over threw the throne and removed us. I'm not doing that again." He winks. "You're beautiful woman."

Johen and Tye come in. Their eyes go dark. Johen rubs his.

Tye picks me up into a big hug. "I am the luckiest man alive."

"That's her swimsuit."

"I get to see you all day in this? I might die, but it'll be worth it." I give him a kiss, then he puts me back on my feet. "I completely forgot why I came here."

I put the tiny red skirt over the bottom. I spin, and it floats up and bounces.

"I WANT THAT."

"ME TOO."

Both of them run out.

I pick up the black and red shirts and hold them for Dipak to see.

"Black sweetheart."

I put the black 1 on. Then I grab my red towel. "I'm ready."

May looks at me. "Now would be a good time for those hairbands. You could get your hair pulled back."

"I got some in my office." Marcus walks out.

Tye starts pulling my hair back and Marcus comes back and gives him a hair tie. Then he gives 1 to Coral and Thora when they start complaining. After a few minutes, the 3 of us are ready with skirts and shirts on with our towels.

The builders are there working on stuff at Tye's resort.

I drag Nikolas through the aquarium ride. He tackles me off my tube right, and he doesn't let go.

After we get through the rapids, I crack up laughing.

"It's supposed to do that?"

"Yes."

"He needs to put a sign on that damn thing. I nearly pissed myself. That shark is f*****g huge."

Corbin and Camilla come out behind us. "AGAIN." She drags him right out the pool.

Nikolas wraps his arms around me. "Let's try again now that I know what's coming. I was trying to save you from a damn shark woman."

"How are they doing having their mates?"

"Those 2 still aren't marked."

I look at Victor and Opal and nod. "He's so gentle with her. He's going to have to get over that. We don't break that easily."

We watch Camilla dragging Corbin back to the start of the aquarium by his arm. "That 1 might break Corbin."

"Yea, I could see that."

He pulls me onto his tube as we go in the aquarium. "How am I doing with mine?"

I smile and snuggle him. "I think you're..."

"I mean, I know we have issues. I know you're having a hard time trusting me. That's going to take a while. But I don't care how long it takes. It can take forever. I'm not going anywhere. I love this. I want you to love me. I love you so damn much."

I kiss him. "You're rambling. I do love you, Nikolas, and it scares me. But I do love you. Don't ever think I don't and like you said, we have forever to sort it out." I kiss him again. "I don't think it'll take that long though."

He pulls me in for another kiss. "Thank you for believing me and giving me another chance."

"Remember we're in this together. It's not only me. You have to be honest with them. They're all hurt."

"Yea, I can tell. I wanted to protect my brothers and make sure you stayed safe. I know I f****d up a lot. But I'm glad it's over..."

"AHHH!" I go down the damn hill.

We get out and find a shady spot to sit. Dipak and Marcus sit by us.

"I couldn't imagine going through that. I thought my dad was mean because he made me wear a veil."

Marcus nods. "I should have seen it. I of all people. My parents weren't near as bad as yours, but I still know the signs to look for. I still... I should have seen it. You were all scared kids acting like perfect adults. None of you barely ever acted like kids."

"It was no one's fault that I lied. I was trying to figure out how to get out of it. I really was. And I knew my dad and that b***h had everyone here fooled. I figured everyone would believe them. He would say we were trying to get attention or something."

"Troubled kids. Blame the kids. A lot of people do that."

"I wanted him out of here. I was actually happy when he acted on that gold. All I had to do was destroy the brains. I knew that would get everyone's attention at the same time. My brothers knew you were our only hope. They didn't want anyone to get hurt either. It was amazing the whole time we got to stay at your castle. We had space from him, and he couldn't do anything to anyone." He wipes his eyes. "I knew he was going to blow up when it was over. After having to pretend to be nice that whole time. But it was nice while it lasted. The 3 of us got to fit in somewhere and not worry. Well, we had to worry about other things." He shrugs his shoulders. "Having him anywhere around Nadine was the worst. But I didn't know how anyone would react if I told the truth."

"You didn't think we would believe you." Nikolas shakes his head. Then he starts crying.

I wrap my arms around him. "It's ok. It's over now. And I know they can both be assholes, but they're good at figuring out the truth. Don't lie to them. They'll figure out the truth anyway, and then you'll be in trouble for lying."

"She speaks from experience."

"I didn't lie."

"Woman, I said, where is he? You said, I don't know. When you, in fact, did know. That is a lie."

"You didn't say who 'HE' was. For all I knew, you were looking for Marcus. I didn't lie. I didn't know where Marcus was."

Nikolas looks around. "Who is he?"

"Someone got caught in bed with Elek. Elek jumped out the window and off the balcony, so I didn't kill him. Then the woman said she had no idea where he was."

"You did what?"

I jump up. I open my mouth to say something, and then I run for it. I jump in the first pool and go under. They can't yell at me if I can't hear them. I walk slowly to the other side. I'll sneak out.

I climb out and check where they were sitting. They're gone now. I push myself up slowly and get lifted out. I get put on my feet and look at Nikolas with his eyebrows up.

"Hi. How are you?"

"Why were you in bed with..." Coral shoves Nikolas hard. He flies into the pool.

She grabs me. "RUN."

I take off running with her.

Shortly after that, most of the guys go out to fish.

I play on the slides. Then Johen buys me and Thora a coconut drink, so we can be on vacation. His cousin laughs the whole time, then loses it when Johen tells us to 'go be on vacation at the slides.'

Thora and I end up in the little kid part of the waterpark with Ana and Elek's 2 littlest brothers.

"What are your names?"

"Easton and Ethan."

"Elek, Elijah, Elroy, Easton, Ethan. She really likes the letter E."

"The next 1 will be Ezekiel if it's a boy."

"What if it's a girl?"

He shrugs his shoulders. "Ezekiel I guess."

We laugh as Elek comes over.

Thora smiles. "They said your mom will name the next baby Ezekiel. I asked if it's a girl. They said Ezekiel."

"Momma probably don't know a girl name."

The older 1 shakes his head. "I heard momma say she don't want to get her hopes up yet. It'll probably be a boy anyway. That's all daddy knows how to make."

Elek nearly falls over.

May walks over. "What are you all doing?"

"Talking about the new baby, momma."

"I didn't realize anyone else knew."

"We knew momma." They both run off to go down the slide.

Thora smiles. "Congratulations."

"Thank you. I guess I should tell my other boys before they find out from a random person."

"Yea, you might want to make the announcement soon, or they're going to do it for you."

"Congratulations, and they named the baby Ezekiel, no matter if it's a boy or girl."

She laughs. Then Elek turns around and gives her a hug. "Congratulations mom."

"Thank you son. I wanted to give it 1 more try before the grandbabies take over everything."

Me and Thora both look at each other. Then she shakes her head. "We're not going to ask that."

I nod. "That's a Dipak question."

Elek and his mom laugh.

"THERE'S THE BOAT. LET'S GO ASK." Thora pulls me.

"You want me to take Ana for a bit?" May picks her up.

"YES."

Dipak gets off nearly last with Marcus. Marcus says something to Dipak, but I don't catch it.

"I have a question."

"What is it, sweetheart?"

There's too many people. "It's a question for just you."

Marcus smiles. "Can I be there?"

Thora nods. "But nobody else."

"Alright, let's take a walk."

"You know how babies are made?" I put my hand on my belly.

"We are aware, angel."

"May's pregnant."

"But we can't tell. Don't tell. We only found out because of the little ones. She hasn't told anyone else yet."

"Ok. We won't tell, sweetheart."

"You have to promise."

"We promise."

Thora sits up. "Well... She said she wanted to try 1 last time before the grandbabies take over everything."

I nod. "How do?... Can?... Do they?... Can they?"

"How do they even have s*x?"

Dipak smiles. "s*x isn't just a man sticking his d**k in a woman. It's about intimacy and getting each other off. You've given blow jobs, right? That's still part of s*x and being intimate with someone. Touching, kissing. It's part of it. It's not only 1 thing."

"So like anal is s*x too?" They nod at her. "Do they do that?"

Marcus rubs his eyes. "I would assume, but I'm not going to ask. That would be very personal."

"That's not something you ask someone. That's private for them. How anyone has s*x with their partner is private for them."

I scratch my head. "Can they make babies though? May said before the grandbabies took over everything. Girls have babies."

"They can't get each other pregnant. No. But either of them could get a girl pregnant."

"But."

"It's their relationship. If they are comfortable with that, then it's their choice. They could plan it out with the woman and once the baby is born, it's theirs. Whatever they decide will be up to them. It is about what they are comfortable with in their relationship."

"Another way is adoption. They may raise someone else's babies."

"I get it now."

"Me too. Nikolas is coming anyway."

"Ugh." I rub my eyes. "Is it too late to run for it?"

"Yes. Are we mad at him?"

"No. Not yet. I think he might be mad at us though."

"I'm going back. I'll let you sort this out for us."

"Thank you. You're so thoughtful."

Nikolas puts his arm around me. "What are you all doing out here?"

"Explaining gay sex."

"And where babies come from. We'll let you take it from here."

They leave laughing.

He sits down with me. "They weren't serious were they?"

"I didn't understand. I had questions because of Elijah and Arvid." I shrug my shoulders.

"Questions are ok. It's good you go to them. They will give you the truth. Someone else may lie just to make you stop asking."

"When you left, everyone thought it was a full attack. The boys will remove me every time that happens. They don't even know where I am. And there's no plan for it. They act fast. Well, I was removed by Elek and Elroy. Dipak must have told Elek to move me. Elek put something over my face and out I went. I woke up in a cave later. The next day, we got the go-to move. We came here."

"They actually kept you in a cave all night?"

"They didn't even know where I was."

"Why?"

"If you got to 1 of them, they wouldn't be able to tell you where I was. Because they wouldn't have known."

"Oh."

"Johen moved here too. Somehow, in the mix of everything, my dragon told Johen that the therapy was helping him age faster. So, all he wanted to do was go to therapy. Meanwhile, I was a mess. I couldn't sleep. I woke up screaming and having nightmares. So, Johen had me sleep between him and Elek. Well in the morning, Johen went to therapy and left me and Elek in bed. We were asleep. But then we woke up. Dipak showed up, and I heard him through the door. Elek jumped out the window. But he jumped too fast and went flying off the balcony. Then Dipak ran in and said 'where is he?' I said 'I don't know.' But he didn't say who he was looking for. So I did not lie."

"Did you know who he was asking about?"

"He could have been asking about Johen."

"So Johen left you alone in bed with him?"

"Yes."

"And everyone is ok with that?"

"I don't think so. But Johen blames Dipak for sending us away together in the first place. It happened so fast. But other than the kisses and me shoving his shirt over his head, that's all that happened between us."

"And then kissing back at the castle."

"That was before you broke the door down."

"What about Tobias?"

"Coral walked in on me and him before Elek and me. She grabbed him and yanked him out of the room."

"And then Elek throwing Tobias out the window. Was Tobias kissing you then?"

"No. Just that he would get rid of the dark eyes."

"What did you say to that?"

"Nothing. Elek threw him out the window."

"Then Elek went back in?"

"Yea. He asked me something about the spa. Then we started talking about that. Ended up with everyone in the room again."

"Sounds like he was making sure you were alright. So he didn't touch you?"

"No, he tricked me into giving him a massage. That's how he volunteered for any spa stuff. I said I was bringing in waxing. Now, no one's allowed to touch his balls."

"Have you ever touched his balls?"

"With my foot once by accident. Dipak gave everyone the day off and made it a holiday."

He laughs and helps me up. "Let's go eat."

After dinner, I play in the water for a few hours. Then I fall asleep on Dipak for the fireworks. I wake up once after that. He's carrying me around with my head on his shoulder and my arms and legs wrapped around him.
