Chapter 48: You Know Nothing

1090 Words
On the set in the forest. An Xin hugged Song Yin's arm, eyes were restless, looking anxious. She whispered as she slightly shook the woman's arm. "Sister Song, look at how disgusting or scary their gazes are. They look at us as if we are bloodthirsty monsters." At the moment Song Yin and An Xin arrived, they were already welcomed with a disdainful gaze and showered with unpleasant words. "Look who is here? The untainted goddess? Ridiculous! She should be called The Devil Goddess. Beautiful but with a scary heart. The title just fit her image." "Yes. I really can't believe the moment I saw the news. How could a pretty woman like her be that evil? No wonder everyone hated her. I thought it's because she wasted everyone's time because of her making mistakes repeatedly, so it's because she is really despicable in nature. How embarrassing." "Hmmp, you don't have to be surprised. Have you heard the reason why she became successful so fast? It's because she sold her body. How scary she is." "Oh really? I actually heard those rumors too? At first I did not believe it because she seems formal, I mean, she behaves properly most of the time wherever she is in public. It never occured to me that she is one among those women who have secrets in their closet." "Wow, if I really don't know Director Tan as a person, I would think now that she seduced him or bed him in order to get the female lead role. Now, to think of it, it's quiet suspicious." An Xin suddenly stepped in, face flushed in embarrassment, at the same time, because of anger. "Have you had enough? What nonsense are you spouting about? Instead of saying something that could hurt a person, why don't you focus on improving yourselves and do your work well?" A female celebrity sneered. "Who are you to speak with us? And why are you upset? Oh right, you are someone's loyal dog, so it's just right to defend her. But hey, we said nothing wrong. Everything we said is true. Have you seen what people say on the Internet? It's all cursing her and her boyfriend. Oh talking about her boyfriend, It's unbelievable. You probably enticed Allen to that evil thing. Otherwise, how could an excellent man like him who had never been involved in any scandal bully someone like Xue Hei and it's too far! We couldn't believe our eyes when we watched the video. So cruel, right guys?" Everyone in the set nodded. Song Yin tugged her arm. "Xiao Xin, enough. Don't fight with them. Remember what I told you?" "They are so annoying. I'm sorry Sister Alyssa." Xindy Apostol pursed her lips, wanting to say more but was forced to shut up on behalf of Alyssa Curtis. "Let's go over there." Alyssa Curtis pointed to the tree in a corner. "Let's wait for the director there. Let's stay out of argument from these people as long as we can. We can't add a problem at this time." "Okay, Sister Alyssa." Xindy Apostol nodded, pouting in frustration. Alyssa Curtis and Xindy Apostol were about to walk over to take shade under the tree when the same sweet, cool, and cheerful voice echoed in the place. "Who is brave enough to talk about me behind my back?" Hearing that familiar voice, those who were badmouthing the man flinched, face paled as they looked over the direction of the speaker along with others present on the set. Their eyes popped wide in admiration and gawked the moment their eyes saw a beautiful and charming man walking towards them. His aura was so hypnotising, something that anyone could not just have if you are not naturally born with such aura. His gaze was sexy and around him was an air of confidence and seductiveness shrouding his entire self. He was second to deity descending from heaven after a long time of seclusion. He was there to steal everyone's heart. "Auh, it's really Allen! Wow, he is so handsome!" Someone from the crowd shouted in excitement. "Allen, I like you. Give me a kiss!" "Hey, are you crazy?" A male celebrity near that infatuated woman yelled at her angrily, reprimanding, "Did you forget what he did? Or do you want him to bully you too? That way, you are really out of your mind. Don't let his looks deceive you. He is evil." Allen's sharp yet charming gaze landed on that speaker. "Do you have a problem with me? I'm evil? Do you know how an evil person like me looks like? Do you want to try?" "Look at him! He is openly bullying me!" The man shouted, turning around, asking everyone's sides. "Look how arrogant he is. He is not just repenting for his actions, he is even proud of how ugly he is a person. Is he really the person that most people love and support unconditionally? Everyone, wake up. He doesn't deserve your love and support. He is only using it to step on inferior ones like me." Allen chuckled softly, voice sweet and sexy. "Are you done? Dude, I suggest you go to the washroom first and brush your teeth. It stinks." "You— you are really something. So thick-face!" The man pointed at Allen's face. "You don't even feel a little shame after what you have done?" Allen shrugged, pouting his kissable lips, making him appear seductive. "Why should I feel ashamed? I am even proud of what I've done. If I could return to the past, I would still do the same. If you give me that chance, I'm even willing." The young man's face suddenly turned serious and cold, gaze was sharp as he swept his eyes around everyone. "I just want to make things clear. I don't regret doing that thing to that person. Most importantly, I never regret things I've done. Remember my name and this face. I never fear challenges and troubles. Most importantly, I don't owe anyone whatever achievements I have right now. I worked hard to get all these things. Of course, I won't deny the contributions of my loyal fans in my success. Besides, those fans of mine are not blind. They knew how to weigh wrong and right. I'm not saying I am really the right one, but at least, I am not also the wrong one." The man glanced at the woman who insulted Alyssa Curtis earlier. "And you, watch your mouth. You know nothing."
