Joseph Raval kicked the door open and entered the dressing room with a gloomy expression. Hatred was evident in his eyes and it was intensified when he found that his assistant just sat inside the room while busy in his laptop for God knows what he was busy with.
Edo Padilla was startled upon the sudden arrival of Joseph Raval, panic filled his eyes for some unknown reason. But when he saw the person that barged in, a smile appeared on his lips. However it disappeared so quickly when he realised how bad the mood of the other person was. His brows furrowed. "Brother Joseph, what's wrong? Are you alright?"
"Look at me? Do I look alright?" Joseph Raval pointed at his nose, his hand trembled and his eyes flared up because of anger. "Why did you close the door? I'm working alone over there and yet you're here just sitting leisurely? Edo Padilla, did I pay you just to sit here and hide? How dare you ask me what's wrong?"
Edo Padilla blinked his eyes, looking stupid as confusion crossed his mind. "Brother Joseph, did someone offend you again? Did that woman offend you again? How dare she!"
Edo Padilla pinched the counter. Then he came over to Joseph Raval and handed him a bottle of water. "Brother Joseph, have a drink first. When you're done later, I have something to show you. I promise, you will be happy."
"I don't need your water! You damn s**t!' Joseph Raval smacked the bottle and it was thrown on the floor, rolling as it roared a cracking sound in the room. He pointed at the door. "Go! Go and leave right now. I don't want to see your face! You useless thing!"
Edo Padilla turned pale. Although he was angry because of Joseph's Raval treatment of him, he did not dare to fight back. After all, he was his boss and he was the one who was indeed paying him. He could not afford to lose a job for the time being.
He had to endure.
Gnashing his teeth while suppressing his rage, Edo Padilla sniffed and then wore a force smile on his face. "Brother Joseph, I know you are mad right now to everyone, perhaps. But the thing I did here is surely able to appease your emotions right now. Brother Joseph, what I am doing is for you. I did not hide and just sit here. I did something for you. I want to avenge you. They bullied you together. I'm so angry because they are really too much. So, I did something to ruin the career of those arrogant people."
Upon hearing the assistant's explanations, Joseph Raval calmed down a little. He frowned. "What did you do this time for me? Tell me."
A forceful smile remained on Edo Padilla's lips. "Come over here and see it for yourself. Here. It's in my laptop."
Examining the other man up and down, Joseph Raval's eyes narrowed.
"Hurry and look for it now."
Because of Edo Padilla's urges, Joseph Raval walked over to the table where his assistant's laptop was resting. As he leaned in to look at the surprised content inside prepared by his scheming assistant, his eyes widened in shock and complex emotions flooded in his heart— uneasy, worry, trouble, at the same time, victory and satisfaction.
Joseph Raval ignored the other emotions he had and focused on the victory and satisfaction that he felt at the moment. Not even bothering to think of the possible consequences if the result of such surprise ended up the opposite. "Is this what you are talking about?"
"Yes Brother Joseph. I did that." Edo Padilla's face lit up to see that his boss was not against his action. "Brother Joseph, how is it?"
Joseph Raval stood upright as he nodded, "Not bad. Not bad. At least you did something right again this time. I really want to see how they can solve this problem. Let's see if they can still bully or look down on us. Edo Padilla, you better spread that news to every social media. Male sure that everyone, especially the people in the set learn about this. Do you hear me?"
Edo Padilla nodded. "Yes, Brother Joseph. Leave this work to me."
Joseph Raval's eyes narrowed and darkened as a dubious smirk appeared on his face. "Allen Oh Allen, so unlucky of you. You have to suffer this. You never expected that there's a day of your downfall, right? You have been on top for so long. It's the time to replace you in that position and the one who is suitable for your titles is no other than me. I won't let others replace you but only myself. As for you Miss Curtis, you're just more unluckily than Allen. You accepted this job and that's the biggest mistake you ever made in your life. You can't blame me. You're beautiful and I even thought to bed you but you disappointed me so much. You have to bear the consequences. Hmmp, ha, ha, ha."
In the dressing room of the female lead.
Initially, the male and female lead was agreed to be just in the same room. But because of the complicated relationships of the two privately, Xander Villaruel asked for another room.
Xindy Apostol stood in the doorway, head hung low. "Sister Alyssa, I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I was just too impulsive and angry earlier that's why I fought. I just can't take it. I hated them for insulting and bullying you. Sister Alyssa, don't be mad at me anymore."
Alyssa Curtis crossed her arms over her chest as she stared at her little assistant, sitting on the counter, her back leaning against the mirror.
Alyssa Curtis's brow curved up and then she giggled, shoulders were shaking, hand covering her mouth.
"Emm what?" Xindy Apostol looked up, confused. She frowned as she repeatedly blinked her small eyes like a stupid naive girl. Seeing her sister chuckling like no tomorrow, even though she did not have an idea about the reason why she was laughing instead of scolding her, the little assistant couldn't help but also smile. "Sister Alyssa, why are you laughing at me?"
"Stupid girl, come over here." Alyssa Curtis said as she tried her best not to laugh anymore. Because of that, her face flushed like a ripe tomato but still, of course, she was fabulous.
Xindy Apostol blinked her eyes again, anxious.
"Aiya, come over here. Don't be nervous. I'm not going to hurt you or scold you."
"Really? You're not angry? Why?"
"No more questions. Come over here right now or I'll get mad for real." Alyssa Curtis threatened.
"Oh." Looking down, Xindy Apostol sheepishly walked towards the woman. "Sister Alyssa, do you have something for me to do?"
"Come closely and you will know."
"Okay."
When the little assistant finally stood in front of her, Alyssa Curtis suddenly stretched out her arm and pulled the assistant's nose. Niblike, Alyssa Curtis said as she tightened her hold to her assistant' nose. "Why are you so cute? Huh? You are a little naive. How could you think I'm angry with you? I can't even be happier because you stood up to me. You're awesome."
Xindy Apostol struggled while laughing. "Sister Alyssa, I can't breathe. I can't breathe. Please let go of me now."
Alyssa Curtis pouted and let go of her assistant's nose. "Now, are you clear-headed of my real thoughts?"
"I thought you're mad because you didn't talk to me or even glance at me since we left the set." Xindy Apostol held her nose and smiled like a fool. "Great that you're not. Otherwise I will be sad and can't do work properly."
"If I were you, I would only celebrate when the storm already ended." A familiar male voice echoed in the doorway—sweet, cool, and cheerful.
The two women quickly looked over the source of the voice. And in the door, they found the same man leaning against the door frame like a model. He was looking so yummy and seductive with his head slightly tilting over.
Xindy Apostol's eyes lit up in happiness. "Mister Allen, it's you again?"
