Chapter-2

I looked at the narrow road which takes you to the village, I don't have my vehicle here and I don't know anyone except the lady Rasa who would be helping me out with my new home. I looked around for someone to help me.

A man who must be in his mid-thirties came to pick his wife I guess, I decided to ask him for help. "Hello, I'm new here and I don't have any ride could you please drive me into the village?" I asked him politely.

"Of course, you can sit in the back." He replied smiling at me.

"I'm Abigail Mr..?" I spoke not knowing his name.

"Martin Hutcherson, she is my wife Lara Hutcherson." I smiled to the woman who gave me a polite smile.

"Not to be rude but why are you here? I mean you don't seem to be like a tourist!" Lara asked me turning around in her seat to have a better view of me.

"Hmm let's just say I like to explore things so, here I'm."

"But why this village?!" Martin added.

"I heard so much about this village and the village name itself is different which made me more curious." I told them honestly. The first time when I heard the village name from my grandma I was so much interested in knowing about it.

Like seriously who names a village name as "Ravenswood territory".

The couple laughed "Yeah, we get that response from many tourists about the name thing. But you gonna enjoy here so much, if you want anything you can contact us as we are your neighbours." Lara says while laughing.

"Ohh, that would be helpful for me." I said smiling at them.

"Yeah, my daughter would be so much excited to have a neighbour of your age." Lara said.

"What's her name?" I asked her.

"Aiyna and she is in high school along with her brother Allen." she said.

"Good to hear." I said not knowing what to say. Then I asked about the neighbourhood and all. Everything just made me happy that I'm finally here where I wanted to be. They got to know we are neighbours when I showed them my location where they have to drop me.

Rasa the lady who is going to work for me showed me the whole house, I was astounded when I saw the house it's a two-story brick house, it has a warmness which made me feel like home. Everything was perfect, it has that old village aura. I loved the house and mainly my bedroom. It is on the second floor there is a huge window which shows the backyard as well as the path to the woods, from there I can see the Castle.

Rasa told me only a few people got the chance to meet the Royal family. If anyone met the Royal Authorities, everything stays in between them. Nothing is allowed outside the walls of Castle.

Rasa is a sweet lady who is in her mid-thirties, she lives here with her husband and children, her husband works in the castle.

She helped me with all my luggage and things. Everything was already there so there wasn't much work for me. I just decorated my room with my things and pictures I took from different places.

I opened my diary and looked at the places where I want to go next. There are many countries where I want to go but I chose to be here until unless I get my answer of why there is this strange pull I have towards this village and why my parents don't like talking about this village.

I walked towards the window and looked at the far of the castle which is in the middle of the forest looking all tall and mystery. Rasa informed me that my room is facing the south wing of the castle.

I decided to take a break from my i********: and official blog pages because I don't want to share anything about my experience here because this place is close to my heart and I want it to be like that not to be known by the whole world.

I went through my i********: feed standing near the window. Suddenly the cold wind hit my bare skin; goosebumps rose as I shivered. I realised it's quite dark now. When I was about to close the window I felt like someone watching me. I looked around and saw nothing but darkness and tall trees. Illusion...

I slept that night only to wake up by a strange dream where I saw a person standing tall with a crown on his head, his back is facing me but I can sense the strong powerful aura radiating from him.

I rubbed my face with my hands before looking at the clock which said 5:00 am. I decided to go for a walk or a run. I like to go for a walk or run in the mornings because it gives me time to think and observe nature.

I pulled my long brownish-black hair into a hair bun. And put my phone hand-holder to my arm and tied my shoelace.

I decided to go for a run in the woods as Rasa said there is a river which is of three kilometres from my place. It felt so good seeing all the tall trees and mountains far away. The weather is cool, I stopped when I saw the river a few meters away from me. Everything here is so perfect and peaceful. I slowly walked towards the river and the path was not so good. But the view from here is breathtaking.

The morning fog, blue sky, tall pine trees, mountains, and the sound of the river is very perfect. I quickly took a snap of the picture and closed my eyes loving here. I brought my yoga mat with me.

I like to do yoga because it not only keeps my 5.3 feet body in shape but also makes my day even brighter. I did my sunrise yoga and I opened my eyes when I felt like someone is watching me, there was no one except now the dark blue sky is turning into a warm yellow sky as the sun is rising. I sat down on the mat looking at the sunrise.

It felt amazing just like a new beginning in my life. I have a feeling that there are many things which I don't know and I'm gonna have many surprises or shocks.

I decided to head back because it's kind of strange as I feel the gaze of someone but there isn't anyone around here.

I picked up my mat and started walking towards my backyard. When I reached my home I decided to take a shower and go around the village.

"Good morning Rasa!" I greeted her sitting on the barstool.

"Good morning Ruby!" she said cheerfully. My middle name is Ruby. I told her to call me ruby.

"What you are making?" I asked her.

"I made your nut butter, banana and chia seed toast with your tea." She said making me smile at her.

"Did you eat Rasa?" I asked her.

"Yes, I had before I came here."

When she put my food and tea before me, I took a sip of my tea. I prefer tea over coffee just say I love tea more than coffee.

"What are your plans?" she asked me.

"Hmm, I don't know anyone here except you and Hutcherson's. I'm alone on my own for now." I said.

"Ohh, my daughter Lilly is a close friend of Aiyna and Allen. The girls are excited to meet you." She said making me giggle.

"Ohh, I'm excited to make friends here."

They are younger than me but getting close to them age doesn't matter right, although I don't have anyone of my age here.

Rasa called someone, I guess her daughter Lilly, I went through some channels. A few minutes later. The calling bell rang and Rasa went to open the door, there came two girls along with a red-head guy.

"Oh my god mumma, she is so beautiful." Said a blue-eyed girl. She called Rasa as her Mumma which means she is Lilly.

I looked at another girl who is looking at me with awe in her eyes, making me smile at them brightly.

"Hey, I'm Abigail." I said waving at them.

"Lilly, Aiyna, Allen!" they introduced themselves. Aiyna and Allen are so much alike except their physical appearance and hair.

Allen is 5 foot 11 inches whereas Aiyna is 5 foot 4 I guess, she has brown hair like her dad whereas Allen has red hair like his mom.

Lilly looked like snow white with her milky white skin and bob hair, she is so pretty even Aiyna is beautiful with tan skin like me. Girls smiled at me with so much excitement I too mirrored their smile. smiling brightly at them.

"It's nice to meet you all." I said.

"It's nice to meet you too." The three said. Allen was giving me a warm smile whereas the girls are grinning like they won the jackpot.

"Why you both are so happy seeing me." I asked them, gesturing them to sit.

Allen chuckled "because they wanted to know how city life is and they are your huge fans." He said on behalf of them.

"Ah?" I gave him a confused look not understanding what he was saying about fans.

"They follow your blog and all social media pages, at first they thought some old lady is going to shift in this home, but when they saw you yesterday with my parents they almost fell by shock." he said making me laugh.

"That's so sweet of you both!" I said looking at blushing girls now.

"We love when you post about places and history it makes us leave this place and travel but you know we can't." Lilly said.

"Enough now, let us go out to the market and show Abigail the place." Allen said.

"Ruby... call me Ruby." I said to them.

We decided to take my SUV; Yes! my brother already bought me an SUV which was there in the garage before I reached here. Perks of having an elder brother...

Allen said he will drive us to the town's market, Lilly took the passenger seat. Whereas I and Aiyna sat back seat.

"We can't believe you are here with us." Aiyna said making me smile.

"Girl you are making me feel like I'm a celebrity." I playfully rolled my eyes while a smile played on my lips.

"Trust me, you are not lower than any celebrity." Lilly said.

"What about your college? are you guys going to states or local college?" I asked them.

"I and Lilly we both are interested in interior designing and Allen is interested in medicine. We aren't going anywhere." Aiyna replied. I learned that Martin is a doctor whereas Lara is a nurse. By which Allen is interested in medicine.

"Were you guys applied your university applications then?" I asked them.

"The Royal authority His Grace established a Royal university here. Whoever gets outstanding in the finals can have a full scholarship there and it's a huge prestigious thing if you are selected. We three decided to go there." Allen said.

"His Grace? what's His Grace name?" I asked him.

"Sorry I forgot to say, His grace Aldrick Ravenswood." Allen said.

"Ravenswood? isn't the village name too?" I asked him.

"Yeah, His Grace's ancestors built this village and the village is ruled by them, they were great rulers and His grace Aldrick Ravenswood is also a great king or should I say more than previous kings. They didn't want to change the village name even though so much has changed but the village stayed the same which is why it attracts many people." Lilly said looking outside the mirror.

"Did you guys meet him?! I asked them.

They laughed "We wish but we never got a chance to meet him; heck no one got the chance to see him but that man did so many things for the village people." Aiyana said.

"Ohh" I said thinking about this mysterious king.

"He even made the education free of cost, so that every person of the village can study without any problem, even other neighbouring places kids come here and study." Lilly said. For some reason, it warmed my heart and a smile made its way on my face.

We four reached the market, I decided to buy fruits and vegetables. The local farmers come here and sell their farm vegetables and fruits. They are fresh and organic.

It was fun with Lilly, Ayina and Allen, they even showed me the local grocery store and also milk store. Where you get all milk products. I know what I needed in my kitchen with the help of those three I got to know everything.

Everything here is so fresh unlike in cities you will be getting the hybrid vegetables and they are kept in cool places. So that they won't be spoiled.

I told them not to post anything about me being here in social media. They happily accepted and asked my number so that they can text me in w******p.

Aiyna and Lilly are the loud ones and Allen is the calmer one, they three are together since the class one which is why they are always close. And Allen is very protective when it came to aiyna and Lilly.

We four decided to go to movies tomorrow as it is Sunday and they don't have anything to do, neither do I.
