Now it's your turn

-Ella I tried to take off my dress, but the zipper was stuck. Maybe Rachel, the housekeeper, could help me unzip it. Walking to the door, I open it and get confronted with Xander, who had his right hand in the air and I believe he was about to knock. "I wanted to ask, if you are doing okay," he muttered and I wanted to reply with sarcasm, but maybe this isn't the right time for that. "I'm doing fine, thank you for asking. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to find someone who's able to unzip my dress." "I could do it," he said loud and clear. "Oh," that was unexpected,"thank you." I turned around and waited for him to unzip my dress. The moment his fingers touched me, I felt a wave of sparkles through my body. Am I attracted to him? Is that why? He was being so ridiculously slow, thay my heart rate began to rise and my breathing accelerated. I wonder what he is thinking. "There," he finished,"see you tomorrow at the ceremony" he said and left, again. At least he said goodbye this time. Ceremony. Maybe we will not spend time with each other at all, maybe he will have a separate house and we won't have to see each other, ever! Because of him, I am not going to be able to find my mate. He is robbing me from that. How could I be able to live with him, to be his wife? I stripped out of my dress and put it on one of the handles of the heater and resumed to take off my underwear. He will rob me of my virginity too, if I become his wife. I cover my body with my hands, in order to protect it from this malicious thoughts, but what good is it? Tomorrow, I'll be his, forever. The shower was very relaxing. The guests were still outside, enjoying the music, the food, the company of one another. I put on a simple beige dress and white flats, put my hair in a bun and left downstairs. My sister will be tossing the bouquet and soon she'll be on her way to her honeymoon. The furnite downstairs was again in its place. Finally. When I arrived at the tent, my sister and Matt, were cutting the wedding cake. We always do it at the end, just like the tossing of the bouquet and the removal of the wedding garter. That I find too intimate to be performed in front of the guests. In our culture, the newly wed couple, has to cut the cake for every guest, so they started cutting it and giving every person a plate with a piece of cake. My sister chose chocolate and vanilla flavours. I tried it when she picked it out. It was the most delicious cake I have ever eaten. Saliva formed in my mouth at that thought. Kate was no where to be seen, neither Ian. My mother and father were sitting behind the table where the wedding cake was, along with Alpha Farris and his sons. Their pack was no where to be seen. I saw them only at the church this afternoon, after that, they vanished. "Toss the bouquet," a girl shouted from within the crowd of people and not two seconds later, other girls were saying it too. "Alright. Everyone who is not a bachelorette, please walk away from the middle of the dance floor. Bachelorettes, please form line right here," Danielle pointed where she wanted the girls to line up. Every girl seemed excited to participate, except for me. I was about to get married anyway. There's no point on lining up. "Where's Ella?" My sister asked and I felt awful. "Here," someone shouted and when I looked at him, it was my distant cousin Chris. I wanted to punch him in the face, but my sister kept asking me to join. "Perfect. Now, are you ready?" "Yes!" The girls answered in a chorus. "Are you really ready?" "Yes!" "One, two, three!" She tossed the bouquet and all the girls jumped to catch it, while I backed away. "I got it!" One of them said. It was one of the bridesmaids, Lena. She jumped up and down in excitement while all the other girls were now pouting and crossing their arms in disappointment. Good God, it's just a bouquet! My sister came towards me, smiling. "I knew you were going to back away," she whispered. "I want you to know, that I only agreed with dad about you getting married, because I know Xander is a good man. I got to know him a bit, he wasn't much of a talker, but he knows what his duties are and he respects women. He will take care of you, Ella." Easy for you to say. You have your mate. I nodded and she hugged me. Danielle and I weren't very close in our younger years but as we grew up, we also grew closer. She used to tell me everything. "Have a piece cake, Ella. It's delicious." She grabbed my hand and lead me straight to the wedding cake. I tried to refrain myself from laughing, but couldn't do it. We started laughing and eating cake. My eyes drifted to a very - weddings are not so fun - Xander, who was just looking at the crowd. I never thought about how he resembles the man of my dreams. Xander has very beautiful facial features. Something in me stirs and I feel guilty for staring at him, for feeling attracted towards him. His eyes are suddenly locked with mine and I feel my cheeks burn. He gives nothing away, which eats me alive. I want to know how he feels, what he thinks - what does he think about us getting married? How does that make him feel? "There you are, Ella. I have to tell you something," Kate appeared out of thin air. "Where have you been?" I asked but she just grabbed my hand and forced me to go with her. "Where are you taking me?" Behind the tent, there was Kade waiting, in a black suit with the Priest from the church. "I want you to be my Maid of Honor, Ella." Dumbfounded I stared back and forth from Kate to Kade. This has got to be the quickest someone decided to get married. "Do your parents know?" "I have their blessing. They met Kade two hours ago. They are thrilled. I told them, that I wanted to get married right away and settle down. My parents were more than happy to give me their blessings. Since today is Danielle's wedding, I didn't want to say anything and did not want my parents to walk away like that, so I told them I was going to get married today and have another ceremony couple of days later." "Priest, what do you say?" I asked. "There is never too early or too late to get married in the eyes of the God, my child. Love knows no time." I smiled and finally hugged Kate with all the strength I have. "Have you got rings?" "Yes, my mother gave me her engagement ring and my father gave Kade the family ring." She passed them to me and Kade and her stood across each other, holding hands, while the Priest read from the bible. "I now pronounce you husband and wife!" The priest finally declared. "You may kiss the bride," he said to Kade and he pulled her straight into his arms and kissed her passionately before us. "Thank you for doing this, Father," Kate said after her and Kade were done kissing. "Love knows no time or bounds, my child," he said once again. The Priest left, leaving me here with Kate and Kade. "So, what will happen next? Honeymoon?" They laughed and took me in a big hug. "Now it's your turn, Ella," she smiled at me and my heart sank at those words. Won't be long until that, I'm afraid.
