Stacey POV

I woke up in the morning.It was 6 am.Alan will wake up any minute now.

I rushed to the maid's room and saw they all were chatting happily.They stopped upon seeing me,''Do you need anything Milady?" Emily asked as she was about to get up.

"Sit,everyone of you." They did as I said.

"I want you guys to know that I am thankful to all of you.You took care of me so well and I can never pay you back.You guys are like the sisters I never had.Thank you for everything.I want you guys to keep this and give it to Alan if something happens to me." I said as I handed them the letter.

"If anything happens to me today.Tell him,I only did it because I love him.I love him more than anything else.I'd kill myself if anything happens to him.Can you do this for me?" I asked them.

"Yes,Milady,we will do it but are you going somewhere?'' Penelope asked.

"No,someone will take me." I smiled as I wiped my tears.

Then,I came back to my room and washed my face.I have to see Alan that's why.

It was 6:30 when Alan came downstairs for breakfast.

'Hi!" I said to him and he was startled when he saw me.

"Good morning.Why are you up so early?" Alan asked me.

"I just woke up.I wasn't sleepy." I gave an excuse.

''Did you come to my room last night?'' He asked and my heart skipped a beat.

''No." I said as I looked down.He just nodded his head and gave me a suspicious look.In fact,he knew it was me.

He sat on the table and read the newspaper while waiting for breakfast.I sat beside him and touched his fingers,"What are you reading?" I asked.

"Just some news about the country." He replied casually.

"Master,Breakfast is ready." Aria said,she was one of the professional cooks.

"Come,have breakfast with me." Alan said and I sat beside him.I tried to hold back my tears and act normal.It was very hard.

I had breakfast with him and then he placed a kiss on my forehead before leaving.

"Come home soon.I'll be waiting." I said it anyways.He smiled at me and then left.I rushed back to my room and cried myself to sleep.

I woke up at 12 pm.I looked at the mirror and saw my puffed eyes.I washed my face and went downstairs.

I was watching TV when Emily rushed to me and said,"Miss,Master Alan wants you to hide." I saw her worried face.I knew what it was about.

"It's okay Em.I hope you remember everything I told you this morning.''

I watched the TV to distract myself from what was going to happen.

What will happen today?

"Hello,Stacey." The main door opened.John Black with hundreds of armed men surrounding the house.My heart stopped.I turned around to see John but I saw something totally different.It was John,he was holding Alan.

Alan's face was covered in blood,he couldn't move,he was almost dead."Stace--hide!" He said it as blood gushed out of his mouth.

"Alan!" I broke down in tears and I rushed to him but John's men held me.

''Leave me,you bastards!" I screamed as I tried to get away from them.

"Alan!NO!" I screamed as John kicked him in the abdomen.

"You imbecile!" I screamed at John."You promised me that you wouldn't hurt Alan!" I cried.

"And you trusted me?" He laughed like a maniac.

"I will kill you for what you did to Alan,you b***h!" I screamed my lungs out.

"Stacey?'' Alan asked as his voice was fading.

"I am sorry,Alan.I failed.I FAILED." I cried louder.

They carried Alan and made him sit on the couch.

"So,Brother Alan,your little Stacey betrayed you all along.You knew nothing about what she was planning behind your back." He laughed and I saw blood in Alan's eyes.

"Alan..." I cried.

"So,Stacey.Are you ready to start a new life with me?'' He asked as he forwarded his hand towards me and I kicked him on the leg with all I had.

"Alan,forgive me!"

"Come on.Are you ready?" John said.

"Yes..." I whispered.

"NO,no,no!" Alan screamed from the behind.

I didn't turn back.I didn't look at him.I left him as he was.

"Get him to a hospital."I whispered to John.

"Why? Do you still love him?'' John laughed again.

"Take him to a hospital and call James or else I am not leaving."

"Okay." He said as he took out his phone and let go of my wrists.That's when I ran back to Alan and hugged him.

"I love you,Alan Black and I will love you forever.No matter how bad things get,you will always be the one and only love of my life."

Then I heard a gunshot.

"Stacey!" Alan screamed and then he closed his eyes.

I touched my back and saw blood.The bullet hit me.

I closed my eyes and prayed that Alan will survive.

I passed out.

9 Hours Later.

I woke up in a bed.Not a hospital bed,in someone's house.

John Black's house.

"Wake up baby girl.We've got a lot of things to do." He said as he came closer to me.

"Alan!Alan!" I screamed.

"Sorry darling,no Alan."He said.

"What did you to to him?'' I screamed as my heart stopped beating.

"Nothing,he is in a hospital bed,fighting with his life." John replied.

"You promised,you won't hurt him?" I cried.

"It's okay,he has a strong body,he will get well in 2 weeks maximum.''

"Alan..." I said his name and cried.

I pulled John's collar.''Who will take care of him now?" 

"James will." I released him from my grip and thought of everything we used to do when we were together.I am a bad person.I don't deserve Alan.

''And don't try to run away." He ordered and left the room.

I cried upon everything that has happened.What have I done?

I lost Alan.

A few minutes later,a maid came with some food.

"Miss,please eat them." She requested.

"And how do I know it's not poisonous?" I asked as I looked at her.She got frightened the way I looked at her.

''Miss,Mr.John will never poison you." She said.

"Really?He shot me in the back last night." I said to her as I showed her my wound.

"It's not poisonous." She said and left the room.I ate it anyways.I was hungry and I needed energy to get back at John.I needed to think straight to come up with a plan on how to kill him.I promise myself,I will never leave this place until I kill John.

I raised my pants and I was wearing a small thigh bag inside my pants.

I never went to the super shop to buy food instead I bought a utility belt.Three months ago,I saw Alan keeping a g*n under his couch.I took it and kept it inside my thigh bag as well as a sharp knife.

I locked the door and started to think what to do.

Alan POV

2 weeks passed by and I recovered completely.James was there with me this whole time.He always tried to make me forget about that night but it was impossible.

I came home after getting discharged from the hospital.

Stacey betrayed me for John.I didn't care what the reason was.She destroyed my trust,my love, everything.I laid on the bed and James sat beside me.

''You can go home James.I am fine." I said.

''I really don't wanna leave you alone but I will be back in the evening." He said as he left.

I really didn't want to think about anything.I didn't care anyways but John,he will be killed by my hands,sooner or later.

I closed my eyes.Just as I was about to fall asleep,there was a knock on my door.

"Who?'' I asked.

"Emily,Master." Emily responded.

"Come." I said and she entered the room.

"Master Alan,that night when Miss.Stacey was taken away.She gave us something in the morning and told us to give you." She said as she handed me some papers.

''She told us to tell you that--" She continued

''Enough Emily!Leave now." I told her.

''Master,You may fire me for disobeying you but I've made a promise to Miss Stacey and I will fulfill that.She told me to tell you that she loves you more than anything else and whatever she did,she did to protect you."

I was silent for a moment,"Okay,go now." I told Emily and she left.

What was in that letter? I wondered.I didn't want to open it because I thought it's gonna be full of rubbish.I threw it in the dustbin and went back to sleep.

I woke up in the middle of the night.I had a dream about the time when Stacey rushed to me and said she loved me.Then,she got hit by a bullet.

I jolted up and picked up the papers from the dustbin.I opened it.

''To my Alan,my angel,

When you will read this,I'll either be dead or will be somewhere else with John.I've loved you my entire life Alan.You don't know how much I wanted to tell you that I love you.Alan,I love you more than my life.I'd give away an whole eternity just to love you one more day.I know you don't believe me,I have broken your trust and betrayed you.I know you will never forgive me.Alan,John's men bugged your house with cameras and microphones.In each room,there is a camera and a mic behind a photo frame,TV,under the bed and under the sink.There are 26 cameras and mics in the house.Search it,it is very easy to find.

The day I was kidnapped,John made a deal with me.He said on the 19th of any month.He will come to take me.He showed me that he has bugged your house.He said that,the day when he will come to take me,he will get ahold of you first.He said that those little cameras and recorders have bombs inside of them.If I ever told you that I loved you,he would kill you.Alan,I am sorry that I've betrayed you but when I promise I will kill John for what he did to you and to me.

I kept wondering why the date 19 was so special.I just realized that 19th November was the day you and I first met.

My eyes weren't filled with tears but anger.I called my men immediately and told them to find the bomb.I called James and he arrived in less than 30 minutes.

"What happened Alan?Everything alright?" James asked me.

"Nothing is alright!" I told him as I handed him the letter.

He read it and was dumb-founded.

"Find John and bring him to me,James."

''What about her?'' James asked.

"Let her be." I said.
