Chapter four

I got dressed in my riding clothes and walked to Max's room. Max wasn't there which meant he went running. It was time for my horse ride with Alexander. I had an appointment with my potential horse trainer in the afternoon. I brushed my teeth and did my hair and walked to the barn. I took Karma out of his stable and put the saddle on him, as well as the bridle.

"Good morning sweetheart" I heard the familiar voice and I smiled, looking at him. His horse was already tacked up.

"Wow you're fast," I said and he chuckled.

"I was here early this morning already, so I'm not that fast" He smiles and I climb on Karma. He climbed on his horse and we walked out the gates

"I have an appointment with my potentially new trainer this afternoon," I say, breaking the ice.

"That's exciting. I don't think you'll need to say potential. They'll be lucky to have you" He smiles and I smile in return.

"I hope so" I smile.

We walk down a path and enter the forest. The forest had no specific path we were following but it seemed as if Alex knew the way.

"How did the nationals go last year?" I ask, remembering that Max did good but I never knew how Alex did.

"It went great. It was a big achievement for me. But I'm hoping to get a better place this time. Even though that's a big thing to ask for since last year went really good" He said and I nodded.

"Wait- what place did you get? I never knew" I said and he smiled.

"I got fourth in the whole country," He says and I gasp.

"Fourth??" I say and he nods.

"Wow, that's amazing. That is a big achievement. For you, and for Max" I say. Maybe I won't be able to beat them after all.

"It is. Two years ago I was in the top 10. 9th place so it's an improvement" He says.

"Max was 24 out of everyone. He was bitter for about a whole month after the competitions and he never even spoke to me in that month" He sighs

"But even for Max, that was really good. You two can both go far. Internationally" I say and he shrugs.

"Max could do so much better. His horse, Ridgeline has a lot of potential even so, but Max is too busy with other things. Things he shouldn't be doing. Me on the other hand, I'm starting my job soon and I won't have as much time as I use to" He says and I nod. Frowning slightly.

"What job?" I ask him, curious.

"I applied to a couple of hospitals and they all accepted me but I went for my best option which is at Silver lake hospital. I'm starting as a doctor but I'll be working part-time as a cardiac surgeon. Well, an intern first and then a couple of months, or years, depending on how many courses I fail I can officially become a cardiac surgeon" He says and I smile. He is such a hardworking person.

"That's incredible. How do you feel?" I ask him and he shrugs.

"I feel good. Great actually. All my hard years of working and studying are finally going to pay off. I just hope I don't fail any courses" He says, looking at me.

"I'm sure you won't. You know what you want in life and you take it" I say and he smirks, making my cheeks heat up.

"I wouldn't go in all cases, no. But it's a working progress" He smirks, looking back to the front of him.

I just decided to keep quiet since I was already blushing like crazy.

I started hearing water. And it got louder and louder till we came across a massive waterfall. The water was crystal clear and it was beautiful.

"It's breathtaking" I smile and he climbs off. I climb off as well and we tie our horses by the tree.

"Last one in does what the other person says for a whole day" He smirks and takes off his shirt, throwing it down, and takes off his pants. He was wearing swimming shorts under and he jumped in. I huffed and took off my shirt and pants. I was wearing a white push-up sports bra, with a white thong.

The water was cold but fresh. I swam up and looked around, seeing Alexander swimming around.

I put my head underwater and opened my eyes, looking at the stones and stuff in the water.

Alex came up behind me and dunked my head underwater. I tried pulling his legs underwater but it didn't budge so I swam back up. I swam behind him and jumped on his back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. From there I pushed his head underwater and I quickly swam out. I looked down to see that my bra was see-through and you could clearly see my n*****s.

I shook my head and put my shirt over, sliding my riding pants back on, as well as my socks and boots.

"You still owe me something. It's just fair" He smirked. His whole body was wet and his hair was dripping.

He looked like a Greek god. His icy blue eyes and his black hair. He was perfect. I wanted to kiss him. It would be perfect. But I couldn't. Max would be so upset with me. I looked at his lips. It was pink and it looked soft.

I shook my head and looked back into his icy blue eyes.

"W-what do I owe you?" I say softly. Hopefully, it's my virginity I thought and blushed even more.

"Another date. Same thing. Same time, tomorrow" He says and I nod.

"I'd love that," I say softly and he smirks.

"Why're you blushing so much Cass?" He said softly in a seductive voice and I bit my bottom lip and climbed on Karma.

He smirked and climbed on Pharoah. We both walked back, making small talk and once we got back I untacked Karma and fed him. I looked at the time, seeing that I was going to see the trainer in less than an hour. I quickly ran back inside and got dressed in dry clothes, and I tied my hair back up.

As I was walking downstairs I saw Max waiting for me. His jaw was clenched and he looked pissed off.

"Hi Max," I say softly and he glares at me.

"Where were you?" He asks and I sigh.

"I was with Alexander this morning. We went for a ride. Nothing big" I roll my eyes and he scoffs.

"Nothing big huh? I tried calling you countless times. I looked for you all over and I couldn't find you" He says, his voice getting louder.

"Can you calm down? I was fine" I say and he shakes his head.

"Do not do that again Cassidy. You wait for me or at least let me know" He growls and I smirk.

Why was he acting this way?

"Or what? Are you gonna punish me, hm? Daddy?" I smirk, wanting to f**k with him.

He walks close to me, making me back up against the wall.

"I might just have to" He growls into my ear, sending shivers down my spine.

I gulp and I find myself feeling tingles going down my body, making my panties wet.

"I-I have an appointment," I say and walk back to the barn.

Alexander was grooming Pharoah.

The next thing we know is a car being pulled up in front of the barn. It was the newest Mercedes. The windows were tinted and the car was silver.

The person climbed out and to my surprise, it was a tall, young male, with blonde hair and he was wearing sunglasses and black riding pants with boots, as well as a riding shirt.

He walked to us and smiled.

He was about 6ft1 and he smelt good. Like cologne.

"Cassidy?" He says and I nod.

"Great. My name is Colton" He says and I nod.

"This is Alexander," I say and he nods. Them both shaking hands.

"So who is your horse?" He asks and I walk to Karma's stable.

"This is Karma Check. I'm kind of lending him from Alexander and his brother" I say and Colton strokes Karmas's head.

"He's gorgeous. I'm assuming he's a thoroughbred" He says and I nod.

"About 17 hands?" He asks and I nod. Karma was a very tall and big horse.

"I'd love to see what chemistry you have together in the ring. If you don't mind?" He asks and I nod. I put the bridle on Karma and put the saddle on. I climbed on him and walked to the jumping ring. Alexander and Colton both followed and went to the Pavillion they had which was under a tree.

I warmed Karma back up again by trotting him in a couple of circles and centered him around. When I thought he was ready I jumped over a couple of jumps, clearing them all.

We went one more round and cleared the jumps and came to a stop. I stopped in front of them and looked at Colton.

"You two definitely make a good team. I can see you both going very far and I'd love to work with the both of you" He says and I smile widely. Glancing at Alexander who seemed to be very jealous. His jaw was clenched but he forced a smile on.

"Thank you" I stroke Karma's neck and Colton nods.

"So how this will work is, the next time I come, which will be in two days, we'll work out a schedule for our training," He says and I nod.

"Great, I can't wait to start working with the both of you" He smirks slightly and walks to his car, driving off.

We waved at each other and I looked at Alexander.

"You're not mad at me?" I ask softly and he shakes his head.

"Not at all. I just don't trust him" He says and I pout.

He chuckled and shakes his head.

"Let's go sweetheart" We both walk back to the barn.

I couldn't wait till what tomorrow would bring us. What would happen on our date? And why was Max acting this way?
