6 Ivy turned the key in the door to a lower-level unit behind the main house. The Sunset suites had been the maid’s quarters in Amelia Erickson’s day. “You’ll get a good night’s rest back here,” she said to Shelly. After refurbishing the four separate units, Ivy found these were ideal for families and those who brought cherished pets. She picked up Shelly’s overnight bag and stepped inside. “I can still carry a bag,” Shelly said, following her. “Why take a chance?” Ivy shrugged off her sister’s comment.
