I kept soothing Mo's hair back as her breathing evened. It took her a while to fall asleep. Her tears just wouldn't stop. It broke my heart to see her so sad, and it broke me even more that she wouldn't let me comfort her.

All that Ryu and I knew was one second, everything was fine. Then we felt this... gut-wrenching pain. Like our hearts were being ripped out. Then Ryoko arrested Danica in front of all of us. The next thing I knew, Cad was mind-linking Ryu and me to comfort Mo in her room. Then he cut off all communication.
