Chapter 23 – The beginning of the chaos
Keelin’s POV
In front of me was the most stunning woman I had ever seen. We looked at each other. I prepared a new outfit to match her color. She squeezed her fingers anxiously. My words froze, and I stood like a statue.
“If you are here to escort me, I am ready. We can go,” she finally says. I wanted to look at her without going to the celebration. She was like an angel!
“Ummm…I have brought you something!” I put my hand into the pant pocket and took a small box. It was a necklace which belonged to my mother. I don’t know why I was giving her to wear for the evening.
