Chapter 2: Mr. Hazel Eyes

“I heard that the other network is trying to pirate you?” Elizabeth my best friend and daughter of my manager said.
We are hanging out in my private villa here in Vegas. I just got a two weeks vacation because our shooting is done and my Aunt Audrey my manager was able to clear my schedule.
“And you know that I will never say yes right? I have been in my network since I was six years old.”
I have been acting since I was six and have been modeling at the age of ten. I am where I am now because of my hard work and talent, I did not use any connection or backer even when my grandfather is a Hollywood producer. I refused to ask for any help from my family. I stood up on my own and made my own name.
“But aren’t you tempted? I heard that they really have a good offer.” She said while she’s wiping the sunscreen on her face.
“It’s really a good offer, but-“
“Loyalty is your first name.” she rolled her eyes and I giggled.
“What time are you going to meet your family?”
“Seven maybe?”
She nodded.
“You can come-“
“I have a date!”
“Here in Vegas?”
“Nope, at Los Angeles! I going to meet my ex-boyfriend.” She grinned at me and I rolled my eyes.
“Beth!”
“What? Can’t I have fun? I am so stressed!”
“Stressed at shopping?”
She glared at me that made me laughed.
“You sounded like Mom!”
“And you’re acting like a brat! Goodness you are 18 already-“
“Why do you make it sound like 18 is an old age?! And hey, don’t forget you are also turning 18 this year!” She smirked at me but I just shrugged.
“By the way, are you dating Julian?”
“What? Of course not! Where did you hear that? You know the Media is just trying to create a gossip and our fans absolutely love it! But hey, I am not dating him!”
Elizabeth laughed at my reaction.
“Why are you being defensive?”
“I am not.” I shook my head and she gave me a look that tells me that she is not buying my excuse.
“Kirsten like Julian! And she is a friend-“
“So?! Julian likes you!” she cut me off.
“Huh?”
“Goodness Leigh! That’s the very reason why you are still single! Not because you are busy or a relationship is not your priority! It is because you don’t notice the guys who are around you and doing everything to make you feel how much they like you.”
“Elizabeth-“
“Don’t Elizabeth me!” she rolled her eyes at me.
“Julian likes you, it is so obvious!”
“Kirsten likes him-“
“Ugh! This is so annoying! Cherie is right, you are too blind to see the real color of a person!”
I fell asleep.
And because of that, I am running late! I have dinner with my parents in a hotel near my Villa, but even though it is just near my place, I will still be late because I woke up thirty minutes before seven!
And I still need to prepare!
Ugh!!
So I did what I have to do, I decided to wear a Channel Dress and match it to my Christian Louboutin shoes and just let my light ash brown curly hair down, and just wore my Rouge Louboutin Velvet Matte lipstick and nothing else.
Since I am on my vacation and didn’t expect this dinner, I let my PA and guards to have a Vacation too since I am just planning to stay inside my villa.
So I had to drive myself to the Hotel.
And because I was too busy thinking about my tardiness, I forgot that I am a Celebrity and went inside the Hotel carelessly so people started to flock to me.
Asking for photos and autographs. There was even some paparazzi!
I tried to excuse myself and escape from them but they are too many!
Good thing the guards of the Hotel helped me to escape.
But as I tried to walk past them a hand grabbed my wrist and dragged me away.
I was really surprised.
I was panting when the stranger stopped dragging me and we were in an empty hallway.
“Thank you..” I said while trying to catch my breath.
My savior turned to look at me.
His Hazel eyes gave me a cold look.
My lips parted.
The guy is gorgeous!
His pointed nose and reddish lips plus hazel eyes are made to perfection!
He is tall and lean and muscular.
He looks as if he just came out from a Magazine!
Is he a Model? Celebrity perhaps? But I haven’t seen him before.
“Next time, you should be careful.” He said in a sexy voice that made me swallow.
“Did you hear me?” he asked while almost glaring at me.
And all I can do is to nod while I am busy staring at him!
No words are coming out of my mouth!
I must look stupid, but hey! I think this is love at first sight!
I know it sounds stupid but I can’t take off my eyes from him and my heart is beating so fast as if I joined a marathon!
And the funny thing is, I met a lot of hot and gorgeous guys before since I am in Hollywood but boy.. I have never been like this before.
Mr. Stranger shot me a disappointed look before he shook his head and left me dumbfounded.
And all I can do is to watch him leave me.
Mr. Stranger never looked back from where I am.
And it is so strange.. he is the first guy who doesn't look affected by my beauty by my charm!
Weird.
My heart unexpectedly felt sad.
Not because he is not attracted to me or something!
But because I haven't even had the chance to ask his name!
I sighed.
I just hope that one day my path will cross with Mr. Hazel eyes and I promise, I will do everything to know his name!
